Lifting dat kfc zinger to my mouth for reps mate

  • In the market for a good weightlifting belt, but these look waay too expensive.

Looking to spend <50, so might just go with the usual harbinger.

    Unless others have different recommendations

      Just go harbinger

I went with an RDX leaver belt. Got it on sale for around $70. Super happy with it and can’t fault it.

Inzer are really high quality and handmade in US, from what I remember. You can get a knockoff on Aliexpress, for example this, and it will do you fine. Has cardboard at the structural layer under the leather though, but lasts long enough.

      • I've had the same pair of inzer wrist wraps for well over 15 years and the velcro seems to be losing its grip. I bought the same wrist wraps off amazon a couple years back from an official US supplier and within 1 or 2 workouts the thumb loop came off on one and almost off the other. Not sure wtf happened there, the stitching looked completely different as well.

I got a refund and got to keep the wraps but wondering if their quality has fallen over the years. That reminds me, I need to find somewhere I can get the stitching fixed up cause the rest of the wrap seems the same quality

Inzer belts come with a lifetime guarantee. They are more suited to powerlifting movements (SBD) for low reps (1-3); provides maximum support. A Harbinger would be better for crossfit/high rep exercsies; provides some support.

Also you need to have the technique/knowledge when it comes to using a belt. It might be worthwhile starting with a Harbinger-esque belt and when you're ready, move on up to a proper lifting belt.

  • Great prices on the shoes, shame there are no sizes left > 40, let alone a 46 for my flat feet.

  • What does a deadlifting shoe even do?

I wear fake yeezys to deadlift in. They are incredibly low quality. Super flat. Very low profile.

    • Just a low profile shoe. If the fake Yeezys are doing you fine, then don't worry about it. But at $25 these aren't exactly overpriced.

      • Aye, I'd have taken a punt but it turns out that there really aren't many sizes available (all quite small)

    • Anything flat is fine - tbh I’m still using a pair of beat up old chucks I got on super special on amazon years ago
