        I bought (and used) one of the el-cheapo capacitive touch pens from eBay for $2 and after 3 days of infuriation I threw it in the bin. I suppose there is a difference between said touch pen and a generic one.

    The best pens available are the Adonit stylus, that's comparable to your Wacom pens. But they cost an arm and a leg

      Not really, I got my Adonit Jot for $21 delivered and my Pogo Sketch Pro for $20 delivered.
