Demands 16.6 for some unnecessary reason. I'm on 16.3

  • Thanks!

Thanks for the workouts fat hippopotamus

Is the Free Lifetime Subscription still valid on future installations? i.e. new phones.

    • Good question, some people in the other deal said that purchases aren't persistent and restoring purchases doesn't work.

I haven't created an account so can't test it. But with a guest account I can tell you that it doesn't remember purchases nor does restore purchases do anything, however I can put the code in again and get premium.

I think if you get an Apple Invoice email as if it were a proper purchased free license then it is truly forever. Otherwise, it is a just a temp unlock. I could be wrong about this.

      Creator of the app here.
Yes, your access will be valid.
If you create a Pumped account, your lifetime license will be synced to server and across all your devices.

  • thanks mate.

I've signed up, since a freebie is a freebie, but this developer has bad form with lifetime subscriptions.

If anyone is interested, I use a paid subscription for RepCount, which us brilliant in it's simplicity.

    • Hi, with Rep Count, does it recommend workplans? I would like to start lifting weights at home, mostly dumbbells, and want some a weekly plan/routine that I can follow.

      • +1

I'm fairly advanced, so only using it for tracking, which i believe it's been primarily designed for. If you're just starting out and need an app that can guide you, there are better options, but they're also more expensive and I dont have experience with those.

        • Ok, thank you.

    • +2

It's not tied to your account. As soon as you delete the app you lose the freebie.

      • Exactly, so "lifetime" is false advertising.

    • +1

The creator has since confirmed valid lifetime access with a Pumped account.

Rarely give shoutouts, but I highly recommend 'Fitnotes - Gym Workout Log'

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.github.jam…

I have been using it for 3-4 years, it's remained free, ad-free, and has the perfect mix of easy to use simplicity and fantastic in-depth tracking of your workout.

+1 deal for competition, but I won't be converting

    • I used it before then switched to Hevy which is way better. Great app.

      • Are you using the free or the pro version?

        • +1

Free. More than good enough for me.

  • keylifts for tracking weight training.

this is a scam freebie as soon asyou have to install the app again or move devices you lose the full status and have to pay for it

    • Not even worth the extra battery usage on your phone to download it

    • -3

I got charged as soon as i downloaded and launched it, had to open a case to request a refund

      • @antkey for that to happen you must of been mindlessly mushing buttons upon start up.

I have not used the app so I can’t comment if it’s good or not but some of these negative comments are wild.

        • +2

I did not downvote the post last evening, nor did I claim in my post that it’s a scam. A freebie is a freebie unless there are widespread reports of the same issue. I simply just needed to request a refund through Apple.

I sometimes download apps recommended on OzBargain, those offering free lifetime subscriptions, and I’ve never been charged before. However, yesterday, when I started downloading this app and authenticated with Face ID, my finger was near the Premium button in the top-left corner, I may have accidently tapped the Premium button and then it displayed the premium options like monthly or yearly subscriptions, it immediately authenticated with Face ID and billed me for the yearly fee.

I've purchased apps before, but in this case, I still don't fully understand how it happened. I'm not sure what went wrong, this is the first time I've been charged after downloading an app.

Same here mate :-( Requested a refund today.
Good effort by the developer giving stuff free but seems weird how to get the free subscription.
Wondering how many people have been charged.

Did you create an account? I installed on two devices using the same sign in account and the status carried across on the second device.

    • +4

No scam here, how can giving something away for free can ever be a scam?

If you create a Pumped account, your Prime version persists between installations.

      • I guess we would prefer the freebie be a regular in app purchase for lifetime. Does it cost you money to offer it like that, does Apple charge you?

  • Anyone know if previous workout history can be uploaded easily? e.g. Upload spreadsheet.

  • I've downloaded this, and quickly noticed there is no rest timer, unless I can't find it, as well when searching for an exercise, the auto correct doesn't come up above my keyboard, which is annoying cause I do rely on it 😅

  • @ziggy bird - ive downloaded and installed the Workout Tracker. Applied the code successfully. Havent used the app yet - but i use FitNotes normally so this going to be a change for me. i'll give it a go just to see

what i was interested in is your other apps. The Habit tracker, Disciplined, in particular. It looks promising but its basically unusable without paying for the subscription and the extra features.
can you work out a similar promotion to try the other apps ?

  • Im gonna cop some crap here, but Workout alone wont help you gain/loss muscle/weight.

    • +1

      100% agree, track your calories.
More than you need = increase weight
Less than you need = decrease weight

    • +2

Is this a controversial statement? Isn't it common sense that diet and exercise goes hand in hand?

      • There are some sauces in diet. For most people, they need to fix their gut first since it has been gutted by bad diet. For some they needs to introduce an entity new set ( beneficial ) of good bio-community into their gut. Then sleep n sun exposure are on the top of the list.

    • Wrong about gaining muscle. You need to work (stress) your muscles in order to build them.

  • Any plans for a watch app?

Free lifetime subscription doesn’t work in IOS, m I missing something

  • Activated free lifetime sub on iOS by tapping the app version 3 times and entering the code. Cheers! I’ll give it a try and share my thoughts.

Only small initial feedback: the exercise's names all being fully lower case within the workout looks a bit off and ‘unprofessional’???

‘barbell bench press’ would look much nicer as ‘Barbell Bench Press’

EDIT: Suggestion to add a ‘plate calculator’ for anything with a barbell. Keeps you in the flow not having to figure out what to rack on.

EDIT 2: Suggestion for 90s as a default ‘rest timer’ to press on.

  • Nothing beats the StrengthLog app for $13ish a month if you subscribe for a year, $18 for 3 months or $25 monthly.

I’ve tried Hevy, and most of the popular ones, SL kills them.

    • Can you explain why you like SL so much please compared to others?
Currently using AlphaProgression, was a long time Jefit user but it became crapola.

  • Dues it support Supersets ? (A superset is where you combine something like a "Push" exercise and "Pull" exercise straight after each other with a rest between after the pair of exercises rather than a rest after each exercise)
