    These aren't great value…
Vodafone nbn100 plan is $80 if you have a Vodafone phone plan, and Telstra is $95/month for the 1st 6 months - both of these include 4G backup.
Aussie is very highly rated and is $99/month for nbn100 (but no 4G backup)

    • How is Vodafone $80
I have a phone plane and nbn with them yet getting charged $89 a month
The bundle and save is 5% which brings it down to $84 so unsure how you get 80

  • Horrible slow web site on an iPad.

nah, every single product of AGL is more expensive than its competitors, even after discount.

    • Where can you get 25 Mbps plan for $45 p/month or 49 Mbps plan for $53 p/month?

      • +1

The AGL plans above already include the discount, so it's not $45/$53.

        • Wow! If that's the case, then AGL are expensive.
I am paying $54.95 for 25 Mbps to Superloop.

Seems more like a $15 premium/tax for those that don't have AGL

    • Where can you get 25 Mbps plan for $45 p/month or 49 Mbps plan for $53 p/month?

      • Not sure. I'm saying that the discount brings the price in line with the competition.

        • I didn't realise that the prices quoted above include discount. Then AGL is expensive.

  • Thanks @scrimshaw for the revised post!

  • we have residential Gigabit internet now?

    • +1

      Since May 2020, yes.

      • is it like google fibre?

        • Not really. It's 1000 down 50 up. It's available for FTTP and some HFC. There's also 250/25.

          • @[Deactivated]: up seems kinna low
            ?

            • @capslock janitor: Probably to justify charging a lot more for the higher upload plans. If you forget that 100/40 exists, then it goes 100/20 250/25 and 1000/50.

  • anyone know who the resellers are? as in which company actually providing the internet?

  • will consider the free month only
but will there be any termination fee? like AGL offers free 3-month mobile and charges a port-out fee (which was hidden in the fine print)

    • +1

      T&Cs say:

You can cancel your AGL nbn service at any time and there are no early termination fees associated with this promotion, you’ll just need to pay any outstanding charges.

^ Much better deal + $100 credit which is equivalent to one month and a bit free (depending on the plan you choose)
