Hey guys was in the market for a gaming rig and got this mailout last night from Wireless1. For me the standout deal was the 17.3" Gaming Laptop which I was checking out earlier in the week @ DSE for $1,994. These guys are doing it for $1,799 which is the cheapest I can find, but also throwing in a bonus Samsung video camera, which I don't really need but I'm sure my nephews would love for their youtube shenanigans.
Anyway off I went this morning and saw they have the camera on sale separately for $200. Thought I'd be cheeky and asked the rep if I take the camera out of the equation, can I have it for $200 less? While he didn't specify how much off he did say he was happy to discount further. I didn't push it as I'm grabbing it in the middle of the week because going overseas next month and want the invoice dated within 30 days to claim the GST back as well :) so hopefully I should get it for $1,599 - 10% GST = $1,453! Pretty good I reckon for a 17.3" Full HD with 3GB graphics :D
Have done a quick check of staticice, getprice etc and seems like they have the best deals for Asus laptops atm. As per title, they have a sale on all their Asus laptops, netbooks, ultrabooks and tablets, but I have pasted the deals from their linked email for ozbargainer convenience below.
Sale ends 27th May. Pretty decent deals from an independent retailer. Have purchased from them before so can happily recommend.
