Was on a hunt for a new phone and came across this deal on banggood. Not the cheapest it has been but still a decent offer

Kimovil is good for that sort of thing: https://www.kimovil.com/en/compare/poco-x4-pro-5g,xiaomi-11-…
Most notable differences are the Xiaomi is noticeably more powerful and has official Android 12 support but also has 80% of the battery capacity. A handful of other smaller differences.
the Xiaomi is noticeably more powerful
The Poco? They're both Xiaomi lol
edit: oh you mean the 11 Lite is more powerful.
https://gadgets360.com/mobiles/news/poco-global-spin-off-ind…
Now, the parent company is still Xiaomi. But it's branding is Poco and only Poco.
W for the mention of Kimovil.
Black is A$500, bubblegum blue is A$383
I bought a Xiaomi previously and the camera software was terrible. How are these versions?
The UI or the processing?
The processing. The photo and video quality in the end was absolutely terrible.
if you turn AI off and make sure beautify etc is off it's not bad.
That said, google camera makes a big difference too.
I order this on 30 April and still have not received the product yet
This is the latest tracking status
The flight will take off soon.
May 06, 2022 11:36Contact banggood and they said wait until end of the month since the package probably take time to deliver.
I feel like the package is missing now since no movement until now.
logistics in China with the lockdowns is pretty bad.
Yeah 30th April was only 2.5 weeks ago, wouldn't be worried just yet.
What I wondering is that the order from Aliexpress on 26th April and 8th May have already arrived.
I assume the order from HK is supposed to be faster but I might be wrong.
Any luck ?
I'm in the same situation as you.
Purchased 28 April

May 06, 2022 11:36:56Package still has not arrived.
It's a long time waiting for the flight to take off !Have you tried to contact them?
I did on Monday and they said the estimated time is 15 to 25 business days. They said they will check with the shipping company and expected to get a response back by Friday.
The flight will take off soon
I think the plane has been towed back to the hangar for repairs :(
Recived my one today.. haven't opened the box yet.. waiting for the weekend.
Seems like not all 5g bands are covered.
Is this better than Poco F3?
From GSMarenas review of the Mi 11 Lite:
The Poco F3 also goes for €299 right now, a great alternative to the Mi 11 Lite 5G. It has an even better 120Hz OLED and one of the most powerful chips - the flagship Snapdragon 870 5G. Its camera quality isn't as great as on the Mi 11 Lite 5G though, it omits a microSD expansion, and the POCO variety of the MIUI 12 launcher may not be everyone's cup of tea.
Poco F3 is more Powerful with
better battery, slightly larger screen. The Mi 11 Lite has better camera and micro sd card slot.edit: I was looking at the wrong phone. Only difference between the Mi 11 Lite and the 11 Lite 5G NE is the processor, which provides the NE with superior battery life. The processors are very similar in performance.
I'm getting thoroughly confused by the XiaomiPocoRedmi lineup.
Check out the Redmi note 11 series. They have about 8 different models!
Is there a single list somewhere of all their different current models, showing comparison spec's and perhaps which ones are just rebranded?
I know about GSMarena, but you can only compare three at a time
Battery life is not the best with this one - only a 4,250mAh battery. Same endurance rating as an Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max.
iPhone 13 Pro Max has 121 hrs? This only 106. 106 is still pretty good!
Some of the flagships are dipping below 100.
122 hrs 5G NE
121 hrs 13 Pro MaxOops I was looking at the Mi 11 Lite 5G
I easily get over 7 hours screen on time on mine
I am not a gamer, my old Mi9 lasts only 3/4 of a day. The 11 Lite 5G NG can finish the day with 40% battery left.
Very good phone, thin and surprisingly good battery life. Check out gsmarena review.
Is this the one that can't get VoLTE with Telstra?
I couldn't get mine to work with Telstra
Now this is interesting.
"The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE runs Android 11 and MIUI 12.5. At the time of testing, the security updates are at the level of November 1, 2021 and are therefore quite up to date. The update to Android 12 and MIUI 13 is considered certain. Xiaomi has even promised major updates for three years and security updates for four years via its Indian Twitter channel. However, it's unclear whether this will also apply to the European models."

Sep 21 phone. So probably 2 years and 3 years left.
Hmm - I'm finding some sites saying this phone is on the list to get 3 Android System Upgrades and 4 Years of Security Patches. But I can't find anything official from Xiaomi.
Sep 21 release and it is May 22. 4 months until September so 2yrs 4mths of is updates.
Got the phone yesterday from the previous deal and update to miui 13 android 12 was there, released earlier this month
You can buy from Banggood and hope you never encounter any issues or need them for warranty. I raised a case for a low ticket item, they replied to the ticket with an irrelevant answer and closed the ticket the next day. I never got a notification that they replied even though I was checking the app everyday.
Just FYI I never got mine in the last deal.
The logistics company (PFlogistics) in Melbourne took over 6 weeks to say it was lost.
Start the refund process in 2 days or change back baby!
Happy with this phone. Bought during a previous deal for 364 with some Banggood discounts.

$407.33 9/128 from Amazon UK, 9GB 🤔
9GB has to be a mistake lol
1GB of RAM in the micro sd card slot
ah cannot imagine how slow 20-30mb/s random access on micro SD will be joy!
Thanks for this! Bought it about $380 ish after gift card and cash back.
dealing with Amazon will be much easier if i ever need toIf I remember correctly, cash back is not eligible for items paid by gift cards for Amazon.
Gift card is eligible as stated on Cash Reward condition but not Amazon credit.
But I forgot that I need to pay GST so it’s actually $404 after 3% GC and 2% cash reward.
Miscalculated but I guess $30 more for 2yr warranty and easier dealing if I have any issue is worth it IMHO.
Just here to praise the xiaomi phones
Xiaomi makes some good stuff, i'm still using my xiaomi mi max 3 from about 2 years ago, still going strong today and still holds charge for more than a day of average use easily.Word of advice though. the xiaomi miui gets mixed feedback, some people love it some people hate it.
I loved it up until the latest update, but what i did do is root the phone & installed the Pixel experience rom onto the phone. looks and acts like a pixel now, but without the price tag.installed the Pixel experience rom onto the phone
Have auto update?
Partially auto update.
Was able to auto download and commence installing the update via pixel experience, but then to finish the update it had to boot via TWRP to finish it off.
I ordered one on 14th May, still not delivered yet , Shipping status says " HongKong The Flight will take off soon."
This vs Xiaomi Poco X4 Pro 5G ?
