Is this better than Gigabyte? https://www.centrecom.com.au/gigabyte-radeon-rx-6600-xt-gami…
Probably no significant difference
Yes as xfx is a radeon AIB and gigabytes are notorious for skipping on thermal pasting
Meh. You'd have to find specific reviews to know this. All the AIB's have put out great cards and cards with crappy thermal solutions / pad/paste failures. Gigabyte is no worse on average than XFX, MSI, etc. IMO
Yes they are, Gigabyte is renown for skimping on thermals.
Always go for an AMD partner like Sapphire, PowerColor and XFX over MSI, Gigashyte and ASUS. I'd rank ASROCK somewhere in between.
ASUS made the worst GPUs ever with their RDNA 1 cards, but their RDNA 2 ones do seem a step above Gigashyte/MSI. Honestly, even Dell makes better GPUs than Gigashyte.
I would save my money and get the Gigabyte tbh.
Frankly any cooler will do on a 6600 series card with that tdp
Build quality on low tier cards is overrated and they all offer multi year warranties
It says normal price is $949. What a BARGAIN
you can check this on 2nd hand market.. you would be surprise what the seller expect…
This card have higher core clock and boost clock compare to gigabyte one. Also extra $6 off if you use shopback as ple computers got 1.1% cashback.
These numbers are from the latest Hardware Unboxed 6 game (medium quality preset) average benchmarks for 2022 (https://youtu.be/gMUcZ7978rc?t=570). It doesn't take into consideration Ray Tracing, DLSS, etc I am aware 3k res isn't a thing, but I averaged the 1440p and 4k resolution performance stats. I personally run a 1440p ultrawide, so 3k is about right for me.

last entry in the table should be 6500xt? My mind is freezing after seeing 6600 xt < 3050 lol
right you are! good pick up. I can't edit it though, but will fix for future postings.
Price now $599
I learned to buy parts locally/the same state if you get a problem it is a hassle. Good price as it the same as a 6600xt fighter from pccg.
