Nanoleaf Shapes Hexagon Starter Kit (9 Panels) $201 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) ($175.50 Price Beating Bing Lee) @ Bunnings

230

Hi everyone, a first-time poster here, so please don't be too hard on me.

Just saw this Nanoleaf Shapes Hexagon 9 Panel Starter Kit on sale in JB Hi Fi, and thought I might be lucky and could find these cheaper somewhere else. The cheapest option I found was at Bing Lee ($195), but Bunnings (online & in-store) is selling them for $201 - a 10% price beat. So, I paid only $175.5 (195-10%) for the kit at a local Bunnings.

Hope this is useful.
Enjoy!

Tell me you have too much money without telling me you have too much money.

$175 possibly is the lowest price I've seen for these. Nice find OP. I'm guessing you are based in NSW as it's $6 delivery elsewhere.

Amazon has matched the price to $201.

    • Correct, I am in NSW. Even $181 with delivery is a decent price.

So I get this right Image 4/6 on the Bunnings site uses 35 panels and would usually cost $804? Thats a lot of $$$ for a piece of art that has a tacky white power cord dangling down at the bottom.

I wouldn't even get close to these if it was not the price, as for now, a starter kit would do the job of decorating my study wall. I personally prefer triangles, but wasn't ready to pay $229. And also in my set up the cable won't be much visible.

      • a starter kit is really not enough to do anything really, i ended up buying 2 starter kits. looks wicked and filled the wall nicely

  • What is the point of these? Decoration?

You can use IFTTT to turn them a particular colour or coded pattern for each OzBargain deal keyword you’re interested in. Plus it can flash SOS when cashback is abnormally irresistible. It’s saved me thousands… actually, I don’t want to exaggerate, but I’m pretty sure it’s millions

Extensive market research has denied the existence of several shades of grey, and those who claim to see them

  • You won't get 10% off at Bunnings if you have to pay for delivery from Bing Lee.

    Bing Lee: $195 + $6 = $201
    $201 Bing Lee = $201 Bunnings

Bunnings don't take off 10% for same price items.

    • Well, I did. Nobody stops you from trying. Walked into a Bunnings, showed the listing on the Bing Lee website marked as "in stock", and no questions asked. The shop assistant only confirmed with the manager over the phone, and that's it. Another happy customer :)

  • Is this an electronic drum kit or what?!?

Everything electronic is a drum kit with the right attitude

  • Bought 2 from Bunnings. Paid $351.
My claim of “Free in store pickup” was help up, but rep didn’t look at qty available was 0. Got lucky on price beat

Kid asked many a times a nanoleaf setup to study since we added square canvas to entertainment area. Christmas came early

  • Does anyone know if you can add a second supply so have 5 on one and then a gap and have 4 on another?

  • I wouldn't recommend Nanoleaf because their smart connection IS A PAIN!! God the relentless troubleshooting until I was like I'm just going to give up!

I got the Poor man's nanoleaf set for only $10 (packet of crayola's and a torch).

    • Lol nano leaf hack of the year! Give this man an ozbargain medal

  • I got them to price match big lee but no 10%…. but still bought 2 lol

    • Why didn't they beat it by 10%?

      • I am in Vic and the 10% only works if I can do same-day pickup. We don't have any bing lees

  • Fyi, I tried doing the price guarantee via bunning's email customer service and they replied as it's a promotional price they wouldn't do the price guarantee. I guess it's better to try at the local stores. But I did try Officeworks and they did the price beat guarantee for 5% off the Bing lee price at least.

    • Yup, I got the same response from Bunnings.

      • OW were able to price beat to $185. No delivery costs as they offered Click & Collect to the local OW. This is as close as you can get to OP's $175.

    • I would recommend to just walk in and ask at the counter. But still glad you managed to get 5% off at OW.

  • I got 2 sets for 351 at my local bunnings. They were uming and aring but eventually gave in.
I actually want govee panels they look better and can sync to tv via the camera which would be awesome.
