The new Lenovo Yoga 9i 2-in-1 is on sale at the moment on the Lenovo store.
I'm tossing up whether to purchase one, they seem like one of the better models coming through this year for portability, and the OLED displays look so good. There are a few reviews up on Youtube starting to pop up, and most seem to highlight the great display, good speakers, and good performance considering the size. Battery life seems to be around 7-8 hours with this particular display doing light to moderate work based on the reviews I've seen, but your experience may vary.

I bought this i think 2 weeks ago. It came down to $2350. I am loving it. Stays very cool. Battery life is actually really good. Screen and mousepad is very responsive.

My previous was also a Yoga i7 10 Gen. I change laptops every 2 years.

    • Thanks Rack- that sounds very good indeed.

    • How is the fan noise?
I am using an XPS 13 2in1 with 10th gen intel, and fans are so annoying and high pitch.
Wanting to move to a silent 2in1.

  • Do you find you use the touch screen/ 2 in 1 factor enough to justify the higher price?

    • I do all the time. I take hand written notes using Samsung Notes which converts it to text in real time. I also do some 3D free hand designs for my work.

    • this is touchscreen + 2-in-1 factor + stylus (although not a docked stylus in this gen, unfortunately)

which is different from say dell xps 13 2-in-1, which is touchscreen but with no included stylus.

Not a huge expense, but something to consider.

    • I’ve got an iPad Pro and a laptop and both come with me to meetings, and I use the iPad for all the notes. It would be good to go back to a single device.

I’ve been tossing up going for a Surface Pro 8 or Surface Laptop Studio, also really nice, but the 12th gen CPU and OLED display are big pluses in this Lenovo. The Yoga seems like better value for money at present- higher specs and great quality for a similar package price as the SP8.

  • Anyone got these and how do they find them

I have been using this for a week from the deal I posted from Lenovo edu store, slightly cheaper than this if you have access to this. I love it - great battery, great screen, great sound. My first premium laptop and don't regret spending the money.

    • Ever worried about burn in?

I am tossing be tween this and the asus m16 gaming laptop. So undecided.
