    YIPEEE was waiting for this..

would you say the upgrade from 5 7500F to 7 9700X be a massive difference or would the prior run most games fine at a low 1440p, high 1080p level?

    • +1

Need an answer to this question too 👆🏻

    • +2

Would depend on your budget and needs. For CPU heavier games there will be a noticeable difference however wouldn't be massive when it comes to all around performance. For some titles, there'll be a negligible difference.

    • +2

Watched some benchmarks seems like the 9700X does edge out the 7500F in a lot of titles even at 1440p. But the 7500F is still going to get you great frames. It's hard to say if it's worth the $300. I'll probably save the $300 and actually upgrade my monitor.

      • +1

Outside of gaming, if you have any benefit with the extra cores and higher clock speed for productivity work or anything other than gaming is another factor to consider.

    • I'd save the money
If/when you need to upgrade down the track the extra money could be better spent then

  • Any 5090 deal?

    • +17

      5090 or deal… pick one

    • +1

Not at the moment as Nvidia's Jensen Huang needs to upgrade his leather jacket, and needs the funds to do so :)

    • Tech fast have a 5090 deal for $4,999 with a 9800X3D but might be sold out by now. Check the other thread

  • +1

did the price increase by 100 from when it was first posted

    • Yes.

      • thats a shame

          • +2

@rawleypawley: Thank you for your feedback, it's not frequent. I take your feedback seriously and I understand this was an unacceptable and unprofessional error and will do better.

          • @rawleypawley: don't know what happened with the case change issue, but what's wrong with the price changing if he's honouring the original prices for those orders that made it in before the price change?

    • +28

No, there was a price error initially and it has now been rectified. The initial post on the deal had the correct price however our website didn't.

I recognise I made the error and take full responsibility, for anyone who has ordered with the incorrect price ($1348 as the base price) we will honour the price and will not contact you for additional payment. There were quite a bit. Despite there being extremely slim margins and rendering all those orders as a loss, it's a lesson to be learned to make sure the prices are correct. It is not your responsibility whatsoever to ensure the price is correctly advertised on our website. It has been a long week and fatigue has got the best of me.

      • Thanks for the response and the great customer service!

on another note, maybe I'm doing something wrong but when I use the code OZB_PHOENIX$500OFF on checkout, it says that it is not a valid discount code.

        • All good!

Working for sure, just need to wait 30 seconds or so sometimes for the system to recognise your configuration then the code will work :).

        • +5

Sorry, there was a typo in the post. It should be OZB_PHOENIX_$500OFF, I missed an underline.

      • +5

This sort of transparency is the gold standard, it really inspires confidence. I sincerely appreciate it.

        • Second this, not so common these days.

      • I have noticed that Nebula PC tends to edit existing posts/deals a bit (as things are quite dynamic and it makes sense rather than spamming many different new posts/expiring with changes etc) but it can be hard to follow what's changed etc as a bargain hunter. But kudos to you for owning the price error and honouring it, massive respect for that. Many a company just take a cop out and refer to their T's and C's to avoid having to do that.

Excellent work in bringing these deals to us…I've yet to pull the trigger on a Nebula deal but it's top of my list when the right build + price comes up.

      • Upvoted for handling a price error with grace. A lot of sellers would just cancel orders.

      • +2

Good on you mate. You've got me over on Reddit bapcsalesaustralia advertising for you because of your service and integrity haha.

  • +1

any chance of another 7800x3d + 4070/80 deal in the near future? i missed out on the last one

    • Keeping an eye out for this but hoping for a lower price although may be wishful thinking!!

    • Me too. Would love a 7800 X3D (or ideally 9800 X3D) deal with a 4080 Super or similar.

  • need nebula on the 5080 deals now

  • How long will this deal be active for?

    • Until we sell out for this one.

      • How long would that take on estimate?

        • +2

I really can't give an accurate time frame sorry, there are too many variables. We don't have many 7800XT's for this deal however this can change.

          • @Nebula PC: Do you think it would be a matter of days?

            • +1

@oiuhiuyg: I can't give an accurate answer to that sorry, it will be live until we sell out.

  • +2

Any chance a 7900xtx build with ryzen 7 or 9?

  • +2

I always like seeing what unique name you’ve chosen for each new build. Maybe us Ozb’s can vote on the next one ;-)

  • Can I know what the difference between the Nebula N2 and the N5 is please? I tried looking at your website but for some reason the pages showing the case infos aren't working at the moment. Apologies if this was already asked on another deal!

    • Also interested in peoples thoughts on the cases. A few reviews I read suggest the Nebula cases are hot boxes and almost a no go zone. Don’t know much about what the pick of the bunch would be though?

    • +1

Our N2/N3 is our entry-level small form factor cases more suited to 1080P systems like the RX6600 or RTX 4060. The N5 is much better suited for mid-range rigs with better airflow and a much larger chassis.

  • Completely out of my depth here but looking at the $1448 package.

Is the cpu work upgrading from the 7500F to the 8700F for $20?

    • If you're using it for gaming the 7500F is the pick.

    • If you do a mixture of productivity work and gaming then yes, otherwise the 7500F will perform slightly better in gaming only.

  • Any deals in the sub $1000 price bracket?

  • +1

Weird question, but are you able to ship the parts separately in their original packaging for the 7500f deal? I want to show my nephew how to build a PC and thats the exact build i was looking at (apart from the 7800xt - ill keep that one and give him my 4060!). Acknowledging that you'll have no warranty obligations for my building skills, but i presume manufacturer warranty will apply still for the individual parts.

    • What an awesome thing to do with your nephew, hopefully you can work something out! I would think it might increase shipping quite a bit though.

      • Yeah, i'm not holding my breath for that likely reason! He's never had a dad on the scene so rather than just buying him the completed product i thought it would be cool to turn it into a blokey event by building it together. Well, as blokey as building a PC can be i suppose!

    • +1

We can't do this anymore sorry, we've had some poor experiences in the past (not saying you will be the same). The system needs to be working completely and tested by us before despatch. As much as I want to cater for you as a friend, I can't as a business. I hope you understand.

  • Pretty nice!
Any chance of some budget gaming builds in the next month?

  • Any upgrades recommended for the 7500F build?

    Thanks

  • can we bring our own gpu for one of these rigs?

  • Are these Nebula N5 mATX cases any good. I have searched high/low and cant find anything on them. Would it be safer to spend $60 and get the ANTEC NX500M RGB mATX - Black instead?

    • Yes, it's our showcase dual glass panel case. Much more suitable for mid-range builds with much better airflow compared to our small form factor entry level N3/N2's. However, any case with a front mesh panel will have better airflow due to its design.

      • I assume it has front USB ports. I cant see them on the picture. Do you have other picture to show us?

        • +1

Yes, they do. 1x USB 3.0 and 2x USB 2.0.

          • @Nebula PC: Can you change the RGB colours with this case?

            • @budgie67: No, they're RGB fans and can only be the default rainbow colour. There is an LED button on the case that will allow you to turn off the RGB completely on the fans if you wish.

  • Looking at the "Phoenix - RX 7800XT - Ryzen 5 7500F" with upgrading CPU to Ryzen 5 7600X and MB to to the Plus version. Whats the difference between MSI and Gigabyte? Any preferences?
    Also adding the Deepcool AG400.

Don't need any lights as it would be under a desk, any options for no lights throughout?

What are peoples thoughts for $1766?

Is this better then the next Phoenix?

    • How come you are upgrading to Ryzen 5 7600X instead of leaving it as the 7500f?

  • +1

Hi OP, how many 2.5/3.5 drives can this case take? Can't seem to find much info online

    • +1

      1x 2.5" and 1x 3.5" drive total.

Edit: or 2x 2.5" SSDs maximum.

  • I would primarily game with this but am i better getting off a 4070 machine if i intend to do some 3D Modelling? Ideally professionally in the next few years but just learning right now

    • Would depend on your budget, there shouldn't be an issue with 3D modelling with the RX 7800XT unless your software demands CUDA cores or an NVIDIA graphics card.

      • Thanks, im wanting to keep it below 2k (2.1k at the very highest), ideally 1.7k-1.8k.

ive heard rendering is optimised for NVIDIA primarily but im not sure if its neglible.

  • +1

Are the RGB lights in the Nebula N5 mATX case syncable/ARGB?

    • I asked the same type of question earlier - No, they're RGB fans and can only be the default rainbow colour. There is an LED button on the case that will allow you to turn off the RGB completely on the fans if you wish.

    • They're RGB fans and will be rainbow colour only. There is a button to turn off the lighting completely.

  • Is this deal done? I can't seem to get a payment through for the 7500F kit with a few mods

  • Hi @Nebula PC I just made a custom order of the first build ($1448 after OZB_PHOENIX_$500OFF), I customised the build with upgraded CPU and a few other bits, but I forgot to change the stock CPU cooler to an alternative, could you contact me or reply so I could change it (the stock cooler for cpu to a beteer one) prior to shipping please.
