OZB_CYDRA_$500OFF

Hi OzBargain!

Late post today going into the weekend with a highly requested 1080P configuration on the 7500F AM5 platform with 32GBs of 6000MHz RAM. Banger value on both, best price in the market to my knowledge at this stage in Australia. Super fast Gen4 SSD as well at (R: 7200MB/s | W: 6200MB/s) instead of the normal 5000/5000 read and write SSDs. Awesome powerful rig with the RTX 4060 Ti configuration for light 1440P gaming on a budget.

Our build queue is clear, if ordered now please expect a little bit of a faster turnaround than the estimated 😁.

    Very tempting!!

Maybe someone with knowledge can enlighten me…the Ryzen 7 8700F upgrade is only $20, worth it?

    • +4

      gaming = 7000 series
      productivity = 8000 series ($20 upgrade)

      • Much appreciated.

        • Why is the 7000 better for gaming?

          • +4

@freeb1e4me: The 7000 has more cache, so performs better in games even with less cores

    • Does it come with stock fan cooler ? Not sure why it give me an error

  • +1

Hey Nebula, do you think you'll have a system for the 5080? Just trying to work out if I purchase a card or if you guys will have 9800x3d 5080 machine 😏

    • +10

I can't give a definitive answer at this stage sorry :(. Will depend on various factors. At this stage, the best answer is no during launch however circumstances can change!

      • +3

I appreciate how candid this answer is - I was hoping to hold out for a 5080 system from you guys on or around launch too.

      • Thanks for the response mate appreciate it

      • Will most likely pick one up if deal ever comes, i'll be waiting :D

      • I'm in the same boat here… I'm well overdue for a home workstation / gaming PC update.

I'd love to see some 5000-series builds once the dust settles on the launch.

  • +3

Thanks for new deals! Waiting for something in 2500-3000 range.

    • +2

Will keep that in mind :). We always try to cover the full range if possible to cater for the large market!

  • Can the Lian Li DAN-A3 Wood Micro ATX Case be added as an option?

    • Not many left on hand sorry, can't for this deal :(.

  • Nice deal, now I'm annoyed I pulled the trigger on last week's build.

    • +16

Both are great value! If it's not despatched yet, we can sort out a way to upgrade/swap to the new one you prefer.

      • +4

        11/10 service 🤌🏻

      • +1

Looks like it shipped today, really appreciate the offer though, great service.

      • Hey rep, I’m in the same boat, ordered a different build last week, called to upgrade to the Ti but got denied.

        • Hi,

It would've only been denied if it had been despatched or packed already. Has this been resolved yet? There were a few changes and all have been processed. Could you please PM me your order number so I can investigate? If it hasn't been despatched or packed already, please let me know immediately so we can process the 4060 Ti upgrade.

  • Any deal on Intel i7?

    • Not at this stage, very little demand for Intel i7 systems for gaming on OzBargain to my knowledge.

      • Yeah true, however I am looking to upgrade to desktop for photo & video editing works.

        • +2

Likely will be best to go down a self-built path for this kind of system, unfortunately :(. Not enough demand for volume pricing to do a deal.

  • on the motherboard upgrade, there's two of the same options.

    • Left one is meant to be MSI that is showing the MSI B650M Gaming PLUS, has been fixed.

  • Any deal with ryzen 7 + mini ITX?

    • Ditto except with ATX boards???

    • Unlikely considering the costs involved for ITX, I would recommend building yourself if possible for the best possible price.

      • Would you say the same for ATX combos?

        • Yes, unlikely due to additional cost with not as much benefit in comparison to upgrading other components. However more likely than ITX.

  • -1

is $5090 the real price for 5090?

  • Is this system compatible with a 7800xt? Is there an upgrade option?

    • +1

Would recommend at least a 750w PSU if you go with a 7800XT

  • You guys always impress me, with what you are throwing together and it's really made me second guess going through the hassle of picking and sourcing parts for my next build with my current system technically approaching EOL. It will survive a while longer, so not a big deal if you aren't getting RTX50xxs in straight away. I would be interested in adding my name to an expression of interest queue if you decide to start compiling one though!

    • Thank you for your support :). At this stage nothing is set in stone for 50 series GPU systems on launch.

  • I upgraded the RAM + Liquid Cooling but I can't use the coupon

    • It'll work, the system just needs to recognise the new configuration you've made. Please give it 30 seconds or so :). There's no maximum purchase limit for the coupon.

  • I'm waiting for a 9800X3D + 5070 Ti build I think… hopefully sometime this year!

    • +1

if not this year, definitely next

      • If not next, then year after

  • +2

do you sell without the GPU?

    • Not at this stage.

  • +2

Any option for cases without glass ?

    • +1

Yes, we have P20CE if you like that's not in the system builder. We can add it in for oyu.

      • Why are the case options so much extra when the case on its own is almost that price?

  • +3

Waiting for a 9800X3D + RX 7900 XTX build (or RTX 4080 Super)

  • +2

Any chance we see a similar build with a 4070 super coming up? Hanging out for it…

    • Same! Would have snapped this up for sure if there was an option to upgrade the GPU to a 4070

  • +1

One of the +$100 motherboard upgrades, is it a MSI B650M GAMING PLUS WIFI? There's two Gigabyte ones listed, but one of them has the MSI one as the image.

    • Typo on the left one with the MSI image, it's meant to be MSI. Has been fixed.

  • +1

Ditto onover's question above regarding the motherboard options.

    Is there a liquid-cooled option?

    • Yes, a couple at this stage. Have been added :).

  • If you do choose the the Ryzen 7 8700F upgrade the checkout process will not allow to place an order without also upgrading the cooler as well

    • Sorry, this was a configuration error. I have fixed this.

  • +2

Some Thoughts as someone that purchased the MSI 7500F and 4070 Super deal with steam gift cards late last year.

The 7500F is a beast for 1440p+ gaming especially with some curve tuning. Mine sits at 5.3 Ghz no sweat and paired with the 4070S, I've never seen in go over about 40% usage while gaming. I can't see it being a bottleneck for any card at higher resolutions.

Nebula PC was faultless. PC was delivered inside the delivery window, and the build quality and cable management was excellent, I was legit shocked considering the individual components cost more than the completed build. Great communication, with them actively reaching out to see if everything was good after the PC was delivered.

    Highly recommended.

    • -3

I was legit shocked considering the individual components cost more than the completed build

I'll give you the OzB tip: they don't. However, their labour cost is real but many choose to list it this way by inflating the parts value. Not to mention they have to make a profit.

      • -1

What? The PCPartsPicker links clearly show that you couldn't buy the individual components for cheaper than you can get the completed build for.

Now if you're saying that Nebula can get parts cheaper than we can, then yeah sure, but that doesn't change the fact that the builds are still fantastic value to us as consumers.

        • +1

To nitpick, you would have to compare with part equivalents as well. Eg. Another brand's 4060 might be cheaper than the particular listed 4060. So if you play around a bit with similar components, the 'savings' isn't as big as they show here. It is definitely good value for those who don't want to deal with the hassle of building their own pc (I am one of them).

          • @WavyClock: Sure, but that's different again than what the person I replied to is saying.

He's saying they inflate their component prices, which isn't accurate as PCPartsPicker literally shows the cheapest available price for the exact component that will go into your build. Sure you may find better value by choosing a different component, but that doesn't mean the component prices have been artificially inflated somehow.

            • +1

@theknight27: Not to mention having to pay about $100 delivery fees if you order components by themselves from different places.

        • You think they are paying $299 for a 7500F?

  • Clarifying my earlier question regarding liquid cooling - I selected the Lian Li 216 case and the Gaming Plus motherboard and the option for liquid cooling disappeared. Can the case not accommodate liquid cooling?

    • Fixed. We had issues before with some cases with the MSI B650M Gaming PLUS Wi-Fi as the heatsink at the top came out a little too much and didn't allow proper clearance for an AIO. These cases are no longer available with us.

  • Great value deal.

  • How does this compare, if I upgrade components

Code not working for the 4060ti version. I didn’t change anything just added shipping protection…

    • Never mind it decided to work 😅

      • Yep, just takes 30 seconds or so for the system to recognise new configurations for the code to work :).

  • +1

Hi Store Rep, any chance for a promo on the 4070 Ti Super like this deal 3 months ago? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/869180

  • just bought the omnix but it hasn't dispatched and was wondering if we could sort smth out to get this deal

    • Yes, please email us immediately before it is despatched as we have trained our operations team to fulfil orders ASAP in the order they have been received. We will likely need to put a hold onto your order today.

  • Hi Lawrence,

Any 4070S/4080S builds coming up the pipeline?

  • Will one fan plus the cooler be enough to cool the 4060ti build?

    • +1

      This was my thought also.

  • -1

hello everyone, Is this a good deal? or do you reckon that there will be better ones in the future

Planning on mostly playing rivals or Fortnite at roughly 140 fps.

    • This computer is primarily for 1080p/low 1440p.

    • Yes to both. With computer tech, there is always going to be bigger, better and faster. Get what you need now at a good deal and enjoy it.

Once you buy it, it will be superceded immediately.

  • +1

Any chance of a BYO GPU anytime soon? I was keen as mustard on the Evatech deal but missed out on that one haha

  • -1

    4080 super deal please

  • Deal expired?

    • It's still live, the code is working. Where did you see the deal has expired? Thank you!

      • I was getting an invalid code message yesterday when entering the discount code, but all good now and order placed. Thanks

  • -1

Lawrence, I placed the order and later realised that it included $50 shipping cost. Can you please waive the shipping and refund it?

    • Hi,

This is not possible unfortunately, our margins run extremely thin for OzBargain deals and we have no choice but to charge for freight costs. The packing material, cost of shipping for the large carton and labour time to pack the carton are costly, unfortunately. Usually, the costs of freight are factored into the cost of the items in other industries however we don't do this. Shipping is never free.

      Thank you for your understanding.

      • Thanks for the reply. Happy to pay the $50 shipping fee.

Can you please help me to update my order placed this morning as I selected CPU upgrade option which I don't want anymore? I emailed sales and haven't heard back yet (remove AMD Ryzen 7 7700 and select AMD Ryzen 5 7500F).

Hopefully it's not too late to change it and get the $$ refund.

        • Yes, we are working on it.

  • +1

looking for byo GPU deal too!

  • Hi Lawrence, looks like there is a typo in the discount code above; OZB_CYRDA_$500OFF
Discovered as OZB_CYDRA_$500OFF worked for me!

    • Just on the individual specs section, noticed the coupon for the post is fine!

    • Fixed, thank you!

  • Is this deal still on ?
