Healthy Life is actually part of Woolworths so makes sense

      • Yeah, I'm guessing "Everyday Market Partner" means it's fulfilled by healthy life.

  • Don't forget 5.5% cashback with cashrewards.

  • how many RATS does it take to get a correct (if positive) result?

    • When it's positive we like to do 2 tests to be sure, though when negative we only do 1 but if symptoms persist for the next 24 hours we do another one.

    • If you get a faint positive, do another

  • $10 off $50 on first order

  • Rats are a waste of time know multiple people who were neg on them but positive pcr

    • Yes, I'm starting to lean towards this side of the fence too.

So many variables. Were they using a high / very high sensitivity one? Were they doing the nasal swab properly, not just giving a quick swab? Were they symtomatic at the time?

RATs can often take a day or two into having Covid before they'll register a positive result. My own son woke up two weeks ago coughing and spluttering. Negative rat test. Not even a faint line. Did another RAT test the next day and the test line on the RAT was intensely red.

  • Nowadays, drive-thru PCR just take 10 mins. Not sure why we still need to buy this…

To do it in private. Some people feel they are getting judged when they drive through.

Yeah, doesn't take 10 minutes to get a result though…

    • Many aged care facilities require RAT to be carried out onsite prior to entry.

I’ve used about 4 different brands. Only ever the very high sensitivity ones. These ones win as far as packaging is concerned. Seems to be the least wasteful out of the ones I’ve tried.

  • I got so many of these tests at home and ebay won't let me sell them. The government is handing these out for free.

    • I've never received a free one from anywhere

      • All you need is a concession card, be a medical worker or front line worker. The government gives these exact '2san' rapid antigen test for free.

        • I dont fall into any of these categories unfortunately.
Im finding heaps of free santiser everywhere i go but not RATs

    • Why not give them away to people who do need them?

      • Been giving them to family and friends, still keep getting a box delivered each week (about 70).

  • The 5 for $25 deal is back (for now at least) if you don't want to buy that many. Free shipping from $50.
