My wife has been wanting to get this one as this one comes with the breathing band and the floor stand, so no drilling and more mobile. It has really good review in amazon on functionality but not so great with the customer services.
I happened to notice a price drop for this one yesterday, matching Amazon US price, but it went up to $580, when i was about to purchase it. This morning it has dropped again to $441,if you are interested , get in quick as Amazon tends to adjust the price randomly

How does it compare with Cubo AI?

Ehh…I got one and think it was severely overpriced.

Breathing band costs extra and is mostly a gimmick. False positives will worry new parents unnecessarily.

Camera quality is cromulent but there is a about 2-3 seconds lag. I think it only works on 2.4Ghz as well (double check).

A normal indoor PTZ camera like Reolink would have honestly sufficed for 10% the price.

      Agree 100%

    • that is what I think too,I also have unused reolink camera, but trying to convince a pregnant woman on our first one, that you dont need the best reviewed with all the bell and whistle, it is a tricky one…

especially after reading/hearing all the horror story about SIDS, or negative impact of wifi..

at least i am saving a bit of money here, and less nagging

I ended up with Cubo AI because of the support. There is no support in australia for Nanit Pro

  • Our camera flow Kmart works great.

  • This is a good price (we paid $447.68 about a year ago, and I haven't seen it cheaper). I don't know if I would recommend it though - camera is really great, but we got limited use out of the breathing band like others above, get laggy performance every now and then and full on crashes / inopportunely timed system updates more frequently than we would like, and the integration with Amazon Echo Show is absolutely terrible (way too laggy to be of any use!).

Overall, I'm not sure whether it's the best option. I'd probably look a bit more into the Cubo AI, if I was buying again. YMMV

Also, the upsell to lock features behind a subscription is a tad irksome. But I guess that is the business model, so fair enough, and if you use the features, then maybe it's worthwhile.

Unless you are monitoring away from home.. Iā€™d recommend staying away from wifi cams. Too unreliable and has a lag.
