Here is a side by side comparison for you.
https://m.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=11142&idPhone2=…
It seems the main differences are the chip, processor and battery?
Unless the Nokia T20 is more powerful than the A8, it’s better to wait for Amazon to restock the A8 64GB for sub $200?
With these two i would say get whichever is cheapest.
@xoom: Thinking the same.
Would have preferred stock Android on Nokia but it doesn’t justify the extra $140 in price.
The UNISOC T610 in the Nokia is a lower clocked version of the T618 so you're going to get better performance in the A8 but I wouldn't say it's significant.
Better display and battery in the Nokia though. I'd say go for whichever is cheapest.
@Clear: Where does the 4gb Lenovo p11 sit with these?
@Spendmore: The Lenovo P11 has a better CPU/GPU than the Samsung/Nokia, a larger 11" 2K display and marginally better cameras. The Nokia will offer a better battery and both the Nokia and Samsung will offer more years of security updates.
So better performance in the P11 but less updates.
@Clear: Great, thanks mate I think the P11 is the pick then as there seems to be a bit of interest in custom rom development for this. Thanks for the reply.
@Spendmore: There's really not much custom ROM development for the P11. Not for the Nokia and I think there isn't even much for this Samsung yet either.
@Clear: Well I suppose $2-300 on a tablet for 2-3 years use is fair enough anyway. Thanks.
@Spendmore: Expect a heap of tablet deals tonight and tomorrow anyway ;)
@Clear: Why is that, AliExpress anniversary?
@Spendmore: Yep. Sitewide codes should get some low prices
@Clear: Thanks, I will have a look, I have a budget of $250 so have been looking at teclast t40 pro or the Lenovo p11 6gb.
Cheers@Spendmore: This looks to be the best price for the 4GB/64GB Lenovo P11 at the moment. Roughly US$20 more for the 6GB model.
@Clear: Thanks Clear I appreciate you responding, you are an asset to Oz bargain.
I actually ended up getting a Samsung A8 128gb from an Officeworks Amazon price match for $245. I know the specs are less than the Lenovo but local warranty and the updates swayed me.@Spendmore: It's a perfectly good reason to go local.
@Clear: What are the site wide codes?
Wow <$200 seems like a real bargain. Will be setting a Camel Camel alert on that one

THANK YOU! :)
Order 128GB model. Thanks dude.
Thanks mate, price matched Officeworks on the 128gb model.
Can you give me a link please. I only see this for $500+
Is this not the same one? $309 via Amazon UK?
https://www.amazon.com.au/Nokia-T20-LTE-Speakers-Microphones…I noticed that also, and the Nokia T20 4G LTE version is cheaper $345.41
Unless it is a grey import version?? I'm not sure why the LTE is cheaper than the WIFI by $20.
Interested to see if they (Ali Express) will have any deals on the new Lenovo Legion Y700 tablet. Yes I know it's on ly an 8.8 inch tablet.
Battery Capacity 8000-10000 mAh
so, is it 8000 or 10000
The Alldocube Kpad is pretty similar… At least in terms of the T610 and 4gb/64gb…
U get 4G LTE too… And half the price of the Nokiahttps://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/689718
But only good if U dun mind next to zero warranty and firmware support.
Wouldn't trust nokia devices further than I can throw them: https://au.pcmag.com/security/93163/report-nokia-tech-is-vit…
Could someone familiar with Android tablets compare this one to the recent Samsung Tab A8?
