  • how do we find out if this has dual physical sim?

It has 1 Nano SIM and 1 eSIM. Source: I was at the store about to click and collect this morning, then the store attendant confirmed the SIM slots, so I requested a refund on the spot.

      • What's wrong with eSIM? Most mobile operators support this, don't they?..

not all…and i use an overseas sim for my second sim :-)

thanks! I think some variants are dual physical sim. just gotta watch out for them haha

I got this phone from mobileciti few months ago, it's a dual sim phone. No branding on the package but local stock. The sim slot looks like a single sim slot but actually fits one sim on each side. One of the sims can be converted into esim.

      • Wonder because this one is specifically saying Carrier Version its only the esim model, Oppo's so confusing like that.

  • My OPPO is not as polished in software as the previous Huawei, just saying

I've had a huawei mate 20 pro for 3 years. Absolutely love it. Need to replace as battery is on its way out. Looking at this deal. Anything in particular that is annoying on the oppo?
Tossing up between pixel, s22 and this.
      Thanks in advance.

I loved my Huawei P30. Such a great phone. I was bummed to find none of the newer Huawei phones have google apps and have to side load it.

Got Samsung S21 to replace it and I still prefer P30 over it.

        • exactly what i have found….my s21+ is absolute garbage, camera is average, phone is laggy, and all the rest of it!!! id go back to my p30 in a hearbeat but both back and front are destroyed :(

      • Nothing in particular, just it does not feel as polished and smooth as the Huawei, the Chinese lose interest in a current model once it's 12 month old or so

  • I got mine from JB a few months ago and it was dual sim

  • x5 pro will be released shortly

    • And the x6 pro in a year. Somehow I don't think at this price though.

Having said that this was $900 in November, although JB you can get bigger % discount on gift cards than eBay

  • Been using mine for a few months with Android 12. Managing the notifications initially was a bit annoying but after a few days of setting that up I can't fault it. I upgraded from a Pixel 2xl. The 65w charging is one of the best features of this phone. Bought mine from JB and it is the dual physical sim model.

I preferred the fingerprint scanner on the pixel 2xl if I have 1 genuine complaint, the underscreen thumbprint reader on the Oppo is a bit hit and miss.

    • Is the battery life as bad as they say? Any overheating?
