  • Nup. Only starts a 10 litre car.
    Too small for me.

yeah but 10 litre car won't have engine to kick start. Its for 10 litre engine ;)

is this overkill or should I just buy the 2000A on special. I like the digital screen on this though.

      • I love the 100W in/out USB C PD which makes this product much more usable and versatile,

the bigger more detailed display certainly nice to have and a bonus. Don't think more Amps starting power ( possibly in reserve and perceived overkill ) is always overkill in real world usage, as often when needing to use one of these in an emergency, it is not fully charged, sometimes below half, and that is where this product will shine. I used my Golloo 2000A model few days ago helping a stranger who already had someone helping with starter pack which was too low/weak to start the vehicle. Mine was on half reserve ( have not charged it for 2 months and get's hot in van over summer ), and started their vehicle first pop. That result when your stranded is worth few extra $ I think.

I am looking for high mAh capacity for device charging so the GT3000 (22800 mAh/ 84.36 Wh/ 3000 A) looks like the pick even with a higher price. Only hesitation is the listing notes GT4000 (26800 mAh/ 99.2 Wh/ 4000 A) also which isn't yet available but must be coming soon. If the RRP on Gooloo website is correct, the GT3000 will be far better value.

          • @TheLurker: Glad you mentioned the larger new model, saw that one and was drooling a bit

over both models untill I saw the price of both, especially the 4000A. On an earlier Gooloo

post someone posted a link to gooloo U.S. so saw them there. For me the 3000A will be fine,

great features and was prepared to wait for a good deal.

    • Great spot.

    • And another 5% off if buying 2, cashback and paying with giftcards even more savings

    • Yeah its cheaper but never heard of lylux8 seller.

      • +1

I guess its safer to buy from amazon, if you are not comfortable with the new store. They only registered last year and seem to sell only GOOLOO products.

As for your deal, you can get 2% back too. I think it is listed under Automotive and also can pay with discounted giftcards to get a lower price.

    • Seller profile seems to be from hong kong.

    • sounds good

  • Good deal thanks

60c Max operating temp. Keep that in mind when kept in your car in summer!

    • Operating temp, not storage temp?

      • +1

You really don't want to be keeping any batteries in 60c temps while in storage anyway.

Best bet is to tint your windows, use one of those circular foldable windscreen sunshades every time the car is parked and keep the jump starter stashed away from the sun.

It's worked well for me and I've had my Gooloo 800A jumpstarter for 4 years and still going strong.

I've bought this one anyway because 100W USB-C PD makes this a complete package in my eyes.

I'm gonna give my current one to a friend or keep it at home.

  • Looks like the battery drains pretty quickly when charging a MacBook. It dropped by 35% and MacBook charge went up by 15%. Does anyone else have the same issue when charging using type-c port?

    • We're you actively using the MacBook?

      • The screen was on but I wasn’t using it.
I have also tested charging my iPhone 12. It dropped to 75% to fully charge my iPhone using QC3 port.

        • Yea, the screen being on would still use up a significant amount of energy.

The figures you're telling me seem quite reasonable

          • @Gorian4: Yea I just did some research and it seems like power Banks lose capacity due to energy conversion. Thanks!
