Save the offer to your eligible Card and spend $60 or more, in one transaction, 3 times, in-app or in-person at EG Ampol by 01/06/2025 to receive one $20 credit. Limited to the first 20,000 Cards to save the offer. Exclusions apply.

Offer Terms
Offer only valid at EG Ampol co-branded locations.
To make payments in-app you must first load your Card to the app using a compatible device. Prior to spending or making a purchase, you must ensure that the location accepts in-app payments.
Valid for payments made by 01/06/2025 to be eligible for offer.
Offer only valid where $60 or more has been charged to your Card 3 times to receive one $20 credit.
Offer is limited to one credit per Card to which the offer is saved and only spend on this Card counts towards the Offer.
Excludes transactions where you do not spend directly with your Card to which the offer is saved, in-app (Apple Store or Google Play) or in-person at EG Ampol co-branded locations. Offer valid at Australian app and locations only.
Excludes transactions made through a third party establishment or payment processor.
Credit is not redeemable for cash or other payment form.
Credit should appear on your billing statement within 15 business days from qualifying spend but may take up to 90 days from the offer end date.
Credit will not be applied to your Card Account if your Card has been suspended or cancelled.
Credit may be reversed if your qualifying purchase is refunded or cancelled.

      Wow that's so true. I was wondering why last time I accepted this offer I never got a $20 credit… I was like this is the first time one of these amex cash backs hasn't worked…

      That would be why. I thought it was $20 back for each $60 spent, up to 3 times.

        Some of the stores do sell Wish gift card. I bought this card for $200, and split payment into 3

        So essentially purchase 3 x $60 ($180) wish gift cards that can be used at Woolworths for groceries etc. thats pretty decent imo

    Last time I tried to do this AMEX kept blocking my cards due to suspicious activity as I was spamming $60 spends across all my cards.

    Was very annoying.

      I had the same issue but I was also travelling for work at the time to regional QLD so to their credit, it did look suspicious as it was outside my usual spending activity.

      I had this too, but it would sms me a code or something which would unlock the card on the spot, and I could continue with transaction.

      Separate transactions. You could buy a single $180 card and ask the payment to be split and use the same card for 3x$60 but the line items on your card must be $60 each.

      I can confirm that there is no need to spend 3 times, just spend $180 in one go, and you'll get $20 back.

        Be careful, last time I tried this and didn't work, you'll have to get a solicitor to review the wording before committing.

      Usually, it's just on the card that has the offer. Nothing about how you use it as long not through 3rd parties like Paypal.

    so basically $6.67 credit for $60 of fuel spent, and you have to remember to pump the next 2 times at ampol.

    i don't know, depending on the size of your tank and whether the price of fuel is better at a different branded servo, this might not be a deal at all.

    they're probably counting on you to forget after the first time. i much prefer the $10 per $50 spent from yesteryears.
