  These are not pretty decent, these are toys for kids and even they complain that its not bright enough.

  Spend your money on better unit from ebay where the battery pack (rechargeable) fits towards the back of your head. So much better and brighter and lasts for ages.(has a battery that's slightly bigger than a AA called 18650)

    Dunno man. These are perfectly adequate for the average punter who uses it to find stuff in the garage or in the shed once in a while.

    For the flashlight enthusiast of course, what you are suggesting is the starting point.

    Bunners one is way better value tho.
