    Credits and Promos SAVE20 Added!
    Not yet qualified

A phoned the call centre, they could not explain the problem, so added $20 credit.
    Stacks with CHEERS20 20% off, so 27% off $220.

Not useful if you want to buy with gift cards. Coles online doesn’t accept their own gift cards yet.

    • +4

Coles online is completely useless. They remind me of what Tesco online shopping was in the UK 15 years ago. $20 off a spend isn't enough to entice me. Woolies online is much better.

      • +1

The website is a mess, but the call-centre is great at fixing any problems. (Yes, I've had to call or email them more than once.)
But if you think it is bad now, you should have seen their early attempts!

        • Yea this +1, it was so shit, much more acceptable now

        • Their text messaging system is really good at solving issues too. Constantly get refunds on stuff within a few minutes of sending through a request and there's never been a stress. I ordered a fruit/veggie box and had a couple bad fruits in it and got the whole box free.

    • yet - Is very optimistic. Will it ever happen. They did Flypay but not this.

  • The code doesn't work, called their call centre and was told it is a targeted promo and not available in all states
I'm so annoyed at myself biting the bait :/

    • +1

I imagine it might not include WA and NT at the very least given the supply chain issues.

      • +1

        Yes it's not working here

    • odd that the code was accepted, but "Not yet qualified".

      • they stuffed up yesterday with cheers20 so probably remove everything while trying to fix it. Hopeless

Only available for NSW, VIC, QLD

Coles online is full of bugs. Sometimesfpr no reason it does not let you complete the order. Sometimes discount codes nog working. Rarely it doubles the discount.
    Woolworth system is way better.

Coles still use paper docket for 4c off while ww got digital years ago.

  • I'd rather shop at ALDI as save a tonne compared to Woolworths and Coles. It's pretty easy to do.

    • +1

If you are comparing major brands, then sure.

Try shopping their equivalent home brands and pricing will be the same.

Plus, I dont get stung a credit card surcharge and my bags are packed for me.

      • +1

Also, Aldi don't have any rewards program, and (correct me if I'm wrong) you can't get discounted Aldi gift cards besides the 10% Zip promo.

Self-serve checkouts can be handy too when only buying a small number of items.
