  • Got a random parcel in my Auspost app today. All it says is "Sent by E-Commerce" currently at the "Shipping Information received by Australia Post" status

    • My order is still in processing.. BUT the phone itself has moved to dispatched. So hopefully not too long to get it.

      • Did you get a tracking number? Mine has marked as dispatched but no StarTrack number via email or text.

        • My phone arrive the next day (23/02). No tracking number.. I recently (03/03) got the charger, so maybe it is only the free gift you are getting..

        OH, Thanks for letting me know about the extra $60 lol.

        After going through this thread, I went to chat with Samsung customer service online and requested for $100 voucher. saying I have been using Samsung devices and moved to pixel and want to come back. They ask for my email address and gave me $100 voucher.

        Device Non-Return Fee means a fee which is equal to the amount of the discount You received when Your unique Trade ID was applied at the point of sale when You purchased Your New Samsung Device

        which is $450 + the trade in valuation?

        • I'm not sure, but I won't be risking finding out.

        • This has been talked to death in the last 2 Galaxy releases.
          They don't charge the trade in bonus, they are two different companies.

          You can find the one for the S21 and S20 on here and confirm.

                @SuperC: Just watch the instructions on YouTube by Whitestone and you won’t go wrong. For me, I’ve been installing since note 9 series.

              • @NoApostrophePlurals: Yeah no issues, just need to enable high sensitivity screen in the settings, but I tried register each finger print twice so it will work better this way.

    Have we missed the boat with this one? looking at all the stacks, with the loopholes being fixed etc and I'm trying to put my tradeID in and the box is saying 'Sorry, due to an error, trade-in service is unavailable at the moment'.

    Is it even worth trying to get this deal anymore?

  • Weighing up whats the best Ultra 128gb deal:

    $1769 with audio bundle a clear case (30% off case) and BONUSCARE and $100 samsung code applied. ($450 trade bonus)

    $1595 via Westpac with BONUSCARE and $200 off accessories when I manually add Buds2 but no mention of bonus bundle. I thought everyone could redeem a bonus? Also wont stack $100 coupon. ($250 trade bonus)

    Am I potentially getting 2 sets of Buds2 with the Westpac deal?

    With the $450 bonus I'm getting a good price on the trade in device and I also don't have edu store access.

    The most stacking I seem to be able to do is in the regular store: BONUSCARE, $100 coupon, 30% off cases and free bundle

  • Trying to place preorder on eep sore but checkout fails. Tried multiple credit cards. ÷rror message is like "We cannot complete transaction this time"

    Also paypal fails even before it asks for my details.

    Online chat or phone support seems unable to determine the reason.

    Looks like I can't buy

    • I had this with a gift card.
      Apparently it's a mismatch between the bulling address or name of the cc against the shopping address provided, which fails a fraud check.
      edit-I got around it by adding the card to PayPal.

      • This particular error is even before it attemps to charge. Just clicking Paypal option results in failure before it asks your paypal details. So financial issues haven been tested yet

        • Could be your email is being flagged by fraud checks? They are very automated, so it's possible it's like a known fraud email by regex check.

          • @thedean: I suspected that too as i tried 20 times maybe. I called and they told me my account status is ok.

            Also another friend also tried from a different epp store gets the same error.

            I searched online this problem pops sup since 2017 .. not sure whats going on.

    • Not yet. I'm waiting for that email too. Haven't got the bonuscare registration code yet either

      • Samsung care should be automatically registered on your phone as you bought it as a bundle. ISnt it?

    • As soon as I got the device. On the next day, I got the email to tell me I need to return the trade-in device within 7 days.

      • Is it with the s22 or with your earlier device?

    Also, on another topic, do not recommend SamsungCare.
    I ordered a new phone because I smashed my Samsung Ultra with samsung care, took 2 months for them to send a replacement (arrived randomly yesterday), every phone call was met with the same response "will be another 2 weeks". I suspect Samsung is just not supplying Asrion with the phones in a volume enough to support a fast turn around.

      SamsungCare is free with BONUSCARE voucher. It cant harm to have it

        I paid half price back then. I just find their contract misleading, "shipping same business day", a quick google suggests very few people are getting that contact condition met.

  • If you are purchasing from online store. Just have a live chat and ask for $100 loyalty voucher. It stacks up with others.

    • You need to add it yourself.
      Then add BONUSCARE voucher for the full discount

        I have got the Care+ using the code and now have the phone in my hand. My question is: do I need to register it in Samsung website/account?
        Some manufacturers want you to register your warranty or your additional entitlements. I remember for Galaxy Note 8 you had to actually register your Care plan…

          Yes I think so, you should get an email to register from Samsung care.
          I received the email which contains the Samsung care registration number (begins in AU like the order number), and lets you register on this website: https://asurion.samsungcareplus.com.au/

            • @KB57: I've tried to register and its not recognising my imei. Got onto live chat with Asurion and they said neither imei is registered so far and to contact Samsung

  • Bought it from the edu store on the 10th and still sitting there with "Processing". Is anyone else on the same boat?

        • Same model/size/colour/order date, but mine has moved to "preparing dispatch" as of two days ago.

  • Ordered S22 Ultra 256gb from the online store today. Total final cost expected is $1449. $60 more if they now charge admin fee for not returning the phone, but are people just going by the T&Cs or has someone actually got charged the fee?

    • It seems the $60 admin fee is being charged. Also Samsung may debit you the credit amount you received for doing a trade in which is my case was $250. This is on top of the existing charge already on my card which is the holding amount of the actual trade in , which in my case was $5.
