      • I believe they do charge the $60 admin fee now.
        I don't think they charge you for the bonus you get however?
        I'm returning this order anyway (if Samsung will actually send me the return labels like they promised that is!) as I ordered the bundle from the education store instead.

  • I tried to use code BONUSCARE after adding Samsung Care Plus but it didn't work.
    It says Invalid code.
    Do you guys have this issue?

  • Vodafone for some reason screwed up my credit check when I last sign up with the Apple store deal. The guy in Hurstville store is actually very good but told me I can’t do anything till EOM. After weighing the consequences of a credit reject, manage to convince mrs to go for this deal and pay for it up front.

    Chat was really smooth and got the $100 promote code. No error with the trade up app and got the trade in ID. Good thing buying from Samsung is you can pick the bonus gift with your order. Free Samsung care code also stack with no issue. Whole thing done in 30 mins.

    $1409 for a 512 ultra, free Samsung care, and the Bud 2 bundle. So basically got the phone for just over 1k. Can’t complain although would be nice to have the Vodafone deal but it’s not mean to be
 their lost.

    still not shipped, whats point of pre ordering? can just go in store and buy them now. not very fair.

    • Ordered mine on 10th February too, sold my note 20 too as only expected a few days of using an older handset .
      Still no sign of new phone .
      Still says pre order, at least and the case says processing.
      Ordered the charger separately and it too says processing.
      Used the BONUSCARE code but was charged $149 , have phoned them ,then told to email about BONUSCARE, did that with no reply , then chatted and told to phone.
      Clearly not going to get anywhere with that .
      But more importantly , still haven't shipped the S22 ultra.
      Ordered through government portal.
      Has anyone managed to get a s22 ultra from either the government or education portal?

        They take the 'BonusCare' value off the value off the phone, the Samsung care charge still appears on the invoice. Have you checked to confirm the value of the phone is $149 less than it should be?

    Yes while this defeats the purpose of pre-ordering, I doubt you will get the latest 512gb Samsung Note 22 like phone Snapdragon for $1,090.

    So I am happy to wait a bit longer. I love my Note 10+ anyway.

        • Exactly same phone and same day, no email yet. Shows prepare dispatch.

    There’s two sites where you can register.
    One is making me pay and the other says my imei is invalid

    says my order was dispatched at 12am, no tracking info in email or sms, tracking on website is not working its forever loading, not sure how this works since its the weekend?

  • My order says it will be delivered on the 24th of March

    I placed it on the 3rd, Ultra 256gb

    • I ordered 256gb black on the 3rd as well. Some of the accessories are preparing dispatch while the phone and others are still preparing order.

      Where does yours say delivery 24th?

      • On the mobile view of the web site under each item of my order it says both Ships on 24th and also says it will be delivered on the 24th.

          On the desktop browser 3 of my accessories are now "on the way", while the phone and car charger are still "preparing order".

          Hoping that maybe it all comes at once… But doubtful. Also all items in my order say ship from: 03 Mar 2022.

    • Still waiting for mine as well. My wife received her email when she got the new phone, it came with an attachment with a shipping label. I emailed Asurion about mine, they told me to wait a few days, that was last Monday. I received my phone on 22nd Feb

      • At this rate if we get charged the full trade in amount before receiving any emails from Asurion, we will have to make a claim with the credit card company.

    Looks like Samsung have really botched up some orders that have samsungcare. Go to https://asurion.samsungcareplus.com.au/ Select device registration and register via IMEI.. Enter your IMEI which it wont recognise. After 2 tries it will connect you to Samsungcare chat. They couldn't find my device on the system or any proof of order. So I had to email to them my invoice and other details. They said they would have to hand it over to some specialist team to put it in the system and could take up to 10 business days.

    • Yeah, I had a similar experience. Also couldn't register it using IMEI and never received any Samsung Care registration email from Samsung in the first place. Total f'up. I'll have to contact Asurion it seems. It is mind boggling how unprofessional and disorganised such a big global company is.

        Don't go via chat on the actual Asurion website. they have no clue as I tried there previously. Just go via that careplus link and the chat that opens up after you enter the imei twice. They just replied my email with "There seems to be an IT issue with your account. Thank you for providing this information, we have sent this to our IT team to have this resolved. We will contact you once this has been resolved."

        • I got this response today after having emailed the support mailbox. Hopefully they will actually fix it now that it is with the backend team.

        My experience is their warranty claims are very similar. Once you have the device they don’t want to know you. So different to apple which of course is never mentioned in the comparison videos or printed reviews.

    mines only a iphone 7 so only worth 5, i dont have to send it right but they say two fees now? or was it always like this? first time.

    Once your new phone is successfully set up, you'll need to return your original device within 7 days to avoid a Device Non-Return Fee and a Device Non-Return Administration Fee . It's as easy as:

    I got my email this morning too. Also was able to successfully register for Samsung care on the website.

    • can you share the email subject ? as in from samsung or asurion for the samsung care ? got my phone for about a week but only received the trade in email to return the device

      • Nah, it was bought along with the phone so covered from day 1

        • Right. I can't even register manually on Samung Care website. It doesn't recognise the IMEI or something along those lines. I now sent a second email to a different support mailbox. Every time I talk to chat they ask me to send an request to a different email. Pathetic.

          • @findingbargains: To close the loop, I got a response today from the support team saying they sent my case to their backend IT support team due to some error in the sytem with my registration details.

    I just wonder if I hadn't contacted Samsungcare to chase it up, whether it would have been lost in the system including the trade-in return email too.

  • Love how they expect you to order the charger separately now but they send the phone and the charger is still on backorder. I've had the phone for a week but no charger and in fact, hasn't even shipped yet. Luckily i have other chargers but still stupid.

    • So has anyone actually received their bundle? - 1 person above said they got their buds but has other people received it when it says Ships from 3 March 2022?

      • I haven't received anything from my bundle yet and I chose the travel bundle. Two out of three of my mates who ordered the buds bundle received there's on the 2nd March while the other one still waiting. Another mate who ordered the home bundle received the wireless charging mat and case but no brick about a week ago. Mine also said it would ship on the 3rd March but nothing and still no progress from "order placed". I even emailed and called with no reply or success of connecting. Tried there chat 2 weeks ago and they said it was preparing. Hit them up again a week ago and said it had been shipped the previous day but got no email or tracking number so I don't know if I trust that.

        • When I tried live chat they basically told me too bad, just wait. Like it's my problem they decided to stop including charges with the phones.

  • Can someone who cancelled their order share how long it took to receive the email with the return labels?
    It's been 3 days and still no email and nothing updated in my account's order status.
    How hard is it just to cancel and return a f**cking phone!

    Received my phone (S22 Ultra 512GB, Green, edu store) today after placing the order on 10th Feb. Got shocked when I saw (through the front camera) the StarTrack guy leaving the phone (with a couple of cases) on the front porch without taking it to the nearest Auspost outlet. Not sure what Samsung was thinking, delivering high-value items without requiring a signature and leaving them at the front exposing to the elements and opportunistic individuals. Had to drive from work and collect the package immediately.

    • Covid changed things. Should of used a parcel locker if you were that concerned

    • For me, phone was left at front door. The $20 clear case, on the other hand, was taken to the local post office for me to pick up and sign. ÂŻ_(ツ)_/ÂŻ

      • Intriguing. Not very consistent from Samsung's side. Their support has been below the mark recently. Still waiting to receive a return label which I requested almost two weeks ago!

          I've been chasing my return label for the last week or so. I was told today that they have system issues which is preventing them from issuing the return labels. How incompetent can these mob get?

          • @keejoonc: Every time I think they hit rock bottom, they get worse. I gave them a nice zero in a recent feedback survey. Problem is the feedback will go nowhere.

    • Now I am starting to regret returning my phone to them yesterday. Given how disorganised they are, the chances are that they will not even notice if you do not send the traded-in phone. Worse yet is the possibility that even if you send them the phone, they could mismanage the whole process and never register in the system that we actually sent the phone and still charge us, which would lead to a nightmare scenario of having to get your money (or the phone) back.

      • People including myself were charged last year after returning the phone back. Multiple emails and eventually had to do chargeback with the bank providing proof of postage to the bank.

    • My device arrived on the 22nd Feb, and still no return email, I've emailed both Samsung and Asurion support, Asurion support said to just keep waiting. My wife's device arrived on the same day and she got the email on the same day

      • Samsung had some issues with the first tooth of dispatch, the IMEIs didn't register property with asurion for both trade up and Samsung care. They have started to fix it.

        I ordered on the 10th, received the decide early and got the email late last week.

  • Got my first automated email last night (sun) from Asurion saying its been 7 days (to the minute) and they haven't received my trade in device yet. Funny how Asurion/Samsung always mention their time frames in business days but then expect your trade in to be received in 7 days (inc Weekends) when the normal postal service doesn't deliver on weekends nor would their office be open. Tracking shows my device was delivered at 8.06am this morning. Given how badly run Asurion was, I'm expecting that the device wont be processed any time soon and a few warning emails to be sent by them later this week.

  • My online exclusive "sky blue" S22 ultra arrived this morning and this afternoon, I got the email from Asurion for the return the device in 7 days.

  • This sounds comforting not…."We wish to assure you that if we have received your original device you will not be charged (Please ignore any automated e-mails till then). Please note that if you were charged before we got your device, the refund will be processed to reflect on the same mode of charge within 7 business days." So this would mean potentially that Asurion will charge immediately if they don't get your device in 7 days (not allowing for covid delays) and then refund you after receiving the phone later on.

    • I got a slight problem. I ordered a case along with the phone. Although the phone has arrived, the silicone hasn't (in fact, it's still in processing mode).

      Technically speaking, the order isn't complete and as such Asurion cannot really expect people to return their traded-in phone as yet.

      As usual, their chat crashes 100% of the time (it stopped after I clicked Done) and their phone says please call back.
