Samsung 65" S90D OLED 4K Smart TV $2685 + Delivery ($0 for Selected Cities) @ Appliance Central

90

Those looking at this TV, not the best it's been, but it is part of black friday, so I don't think it will get better.

I needed a new TV now, so picked it up. I actually went through Samsung as it was a bit better with 5% first purchase discount. Appliance Central is the cheapest for the retailers. Obviously JB and the rest will likely price match if you prefer to buy elsewhere.

55 inch is also on discount under $2k if you need that size.

Indeed, that's why I waited…. But I was desperate for a new TV so had to go for it now

    Should have more to drop.

Got this model in june sales for around $2250, through EPP sale and was just released locally.

Based on the ozbargain history at the time for the prior model, the ATL looking at the 2000-2200 range around where the bottom is for this, and should be around now to late Jan.

Suprised to not see it lower, but this years sales have been lacklustre. Our exchange rate may be a factor this year.

  • If possible hold out for Boxing Day sales, black friday sales have been average to say the least, including Samsung EPP store.

    • I thought that last year - but they weren't much different if at all (at least for the G3 and S90C) had to wait for end of line before the current models were released - then stock was an issue

  • I can grab this for $2280 on the samsung store with a voucher and a swap TV, good deal?

Managed to pick this up for $2173 from the Samsung store.
$100 off tradein for a TV I found on the street, 5% off for first purchase on the Samsung Shop app, and a 15% off voucher Samsung called and emailed me on Friday that all stacked.

    • What voucher? I didn't receive anything in mail even though I get all their marketing :/

      • They sent me a text at the start of the week asking if they could call to discuss the sale.
When they called they offered 15% off vouchers but the TV's were all full price with only clearance models, I was suprised to see it still worked with this sale and stacked with everything.

        • 15% off is insane, I asked customer support and the best they gave me was 10%. Regardless, I'll just get the next year model because I want the 77" in QD and not WOLED.

Enjoy, it's probably the best TV for it's price of this year.

          • @Accuaro: Yes I went down that rabbit hole.
I'd suspect the qdoled cost is too high cutting from the other glass for those models.
I suspect the mother glass is more efficiently cut to the 55" models. Pretty scammy of Samsung though…

            • @thedean: Indeed, you wouldn't know you're buying WOLED considering Samsung just calls it "OLED".

What is the warranty like buying directly from Samsung? I couldn't find much on the product page. I assume our consumer laws would step in for burn-in but I could be wrong..

              • @Accuaro: I don't know, but my 8 year old Samsung TV had a failed motherboard at 4 years that they replaced for me, so they gained my trust for now.

              • @Accuaro: Okay it arrived yesterday and is an amazing TV.
Stressful how thin it is and having to move it around by yourself though.
It's like half a cm thick.

                • @thedean: How long did yours take to come? I'm still waiting and a bit pissed since they said it would arrive last Tuesday.

                  • @betheball: Arrived on the day I booked when I purchased it.
I got directly from Samsung though
