this is better than the capped cashrewards yesterday!

    • Yes, assuming if your order is more than $1250 excluding GST.

      • -1

SB coming with 7% CB in next 2 days is what I say

        • didn't they exclude Macbook Pros the last time?

    • +2

Not really - only for those spending over $2000

8% of $1250 is $100 (Max eligible cashback from yesterday and nearly perfect for base MacBook Air Price)
5% of $1250 is $62.50….you would need to spend 2k (ex GST) to receive $100 back.

      • So the 13" 512GB MBP ($2049 on the EDU store) or anything more expensive like 14" or 16" MBP…

        • Yeah, I wish this was yesterday - MacBook Pro 14" + AirPods Pro offer via Apple education store gives you $134 cash back ($2680 excl GST)

  • If bought something yesterday already would this be a new cashback?

  • This is expiring tomorrow (2nd Feb) midnight right? or tonight?

    • Ends 2 February 2022 11:59PM AEDT.

  • Can I just check - can I cancel yesterday's order (8% cashback capped) and repurchase everything at 5% cashback (uncapped)?

    • Do the correct tracking stuff with CR and it should track the order that actually went through

      • Thanks but my query wasn't really answered, at least you tried.
I cancelled my order from yesterday, and went though CR again to get cashback on this new purchase.

        • Hey mate, tried the same thing - did you get the error below? If so, how did you get around it? Contacted Apple support and I was told that I need to wait 48 hours for the cancelled order to be processed.

Error: "Your order cannot be processed. You have exceeded the product quantity limit for an item in your bag. As a result, we are unable to process your order."

          • @nbar: So eventually none of you guys could cancel the order as it's below 48hrs?

            • +1

@123nkj: I was able to cancel, it's just that I couldn't make another order with my Apple ID with the education discount within 48 hours from cancellation. I ended up getting my partner to do a guest order for me.

              • @nbar: Thanks for the update mate!

  • Does anyone know if this will work on the AOC store as well?

  • Missed yesterday’s one, will get today’s :)

  • Between getting the Airpods 2nd gen vs Airpods 3rd gen, which one would be better for the resale? Don't necessarily need the airpods. Looking at the previous comments, the 3rd gen might be better?

  • does cash reward track from the time of order or from the time of shipping/card getting charged?

I ordered a macbook pro 14 yesterday with a 2-3week wait and the airpods got shipped today.

I got cashrewards notification for cashback but it was only for the airpods.

    Is this normal?

    • They need to be notified by the store that the sale has been confirmed. Plenty of things only track after they are shipped. With something like MBP that has a long wait keep an eye out because you only have so long to lodge a claim if the automatic tracking doesnt work.

      • thanks will keep an eye out for it

      • The 5% cashback ends 2 February 2022 11:59PM AEDT. So if it tracks after the product is shipped, does that mean we will not get the 5%?

  • thanks bought a 16 1tb got 160 back when does it come in?

  • Anyone received cashback tracked if the main item is shipped separately than the AirPods?

I got my AirPods that I picked from store tracked, but not for the MacBook that was shipped later and I received already.

    • Same here. I also have not got the cashback tracked for the ipad that was sent 2 weeks after the purchase date.

      • I lodged a ticket with them. In response, they manually added that claim and said that they will check with Apple to confirm. I do not feel much hope and seems that it may be a glitch in the communication between apple and cashrewards.
