I was looking for a new Audio interface with spdif for axe fx 2.
Got this for a good price.
Has two outputs for two monitoring speakers.
Review looks good

iD14 MkII is bus-powered. No more PSU as with the MkI
Quote "why not buy steingberg UR22" for $70….
You meant UMC22?
Bit of an obscure question but would this be a good device to use to record a Rhodes piano?
I see it has a guitar input which I assume would serve the same purpose.
For sure, but I would go stereo to the two mic/line combo inputs on the back (inputs 2 and 3).
do I buy the latest MACbook pro for use with this? or a obsolete one? i7 vs M1 $1000 difference
Either will work with this. You may need a usb-c to type-a usb adapter if the old Mac doesn't have type c port. Not sure if adapter comes in the box.
I have the cheaper version id4 or something, and I've been using it for the past 7 years and still do. These things are great!
There is also id4 for $223.39 from UK
Doesn't have the spdif though
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08SBSN88X/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_nav…has the price changed?
You have to change the seller to Amazon uk but looks like it's 224 now.
I have the focusrite solo gen 3. is this better?
@ilove: It is better than focusrtie but if you already have it then I wouldn't get this as the functions are the same.
This also has no midi.
Is this thing good for TikTok streaming? Wanna buy a bday gift for my niece.
Noooo its pretty complicated professional audio equipment wont set up with tik tok nicely at all
Also, is it plug and play on an iPad Pro m1? Sorry for the questions but couldn’t find an answer as most reviewers use MacBook or pc.
It does look like it can connect to iPad. Just youtube it mate.
One for old id14

Have you received it? Worth it? I was just about to order apogee or babyface but then saw this.
Got mine shipped very fast from UK. For me it's worth it. Don't know about Apogee, but Baby Face is in entirely different price bracket. What is your use case and requirements?
I am setting up my home studio, I play instruments so will be recording singles and covers at home.
Will be using this mainly to record Guitars, Bass, Keyboard and vocals
Currently have:
1. KRK7 G4
2. Shure SM7B mic
I think Audient is well regarded for quality and musicality of their preamps. So might work well for recording vocals and instruments, in what is a relatively cheap package. Remember this is also ADAT expandable, which means you could get a cheap AD/DA interface to expand the number of inputs/outputs to 8 e.g. ADA8200 or equivalent from Presonus, Focusrite, Ferrofish etc. Babyface is supposed to have great quality AD/DAs and also has ADAT expansion. Would the quality differences be noticeable to you? Only you can answer that.
Great price. Thinking of selling my iD14 MkI and upgrading to this. I think these come with a power supply if I'm not mistaken. Coming from UK, do you think it would have an Aussie power point adapter of some sort?
