This thread serves to let everyone know how much you have saved on your 7/11 fuel app. Please see the archived thread (January 2017 - January 2022) for previous discussions.

Step 1: Subscribe to this thread to get email updates. You can change your subscription settings in your Ozbargain account to enable more/less email updates.

Step 2: Upon filling up simply fill in the details in this format:

  • NAME OF 7/11 STORE
  • PETROL TYPE
  • PETROL PRICE

    finally i got it work, was giving me error 01 same state
    iphone 7, i use ifakelocations
    once you search the price in 711, stop fake location within seconds locked the price - somehow it works

    Is the android studio method working. When I follow the guide. I'm not getting errors, it says price not available in your area

        I have been using the GPS Setter. The one thing that is odd is in Magisk it doesn't update to v27 only the app updates to v27. Everytime I open magisk it says "require additional setup"

          You need to use the FAKEBOOTIMG flag when installing Magisk.

          During install it says something like install some .DMG file, waiting 30 seconds… at which point you need to launch Magisk and do just that from inside Magisk.

      My account gets banned every 3-6 months, and I never get an email about it. I just make another one.

      Yes. I locked an interstate price, think it was WA and paid for the fuel. I didn't check my receipt until I got home and saw the discount wasn't applied, then received the ban email a couple of hours later.

    Always have been able to do the iPad teleport with GeoPort, and Stop Location to successfully lock in, but today no matter what I try, can't lock in. Does this method still work, and if so, does this mean I am banned?

    edit: just created new account, same issue :(

      if you check on your ipad in maps after you stop location - it doesnt revert back (wifi only ipad), it seems to be hit and miss with the stopping location and the ipad actually clearing the location - IF you are able to stop location, CONFIRM in apple maps, then lock in

      I wasnt able to get it to do this consistently however so had to swap to a burner iphone (i suspect a cellular ipad wont have this issue cause it has GPS in it)

    hi everyone, need urgent help ,my account got banned and now i cant login no matter how many new accounts i make.
    i am using iphone 14 . i even uninstalled app and reinstalled it. no error coming just says "THERE'S BEEN A PROBLEM LOGGING YOU IN".
    please help

    Just locked WA fuel price using Android Studio with Wi-Fi:

    • Create new account. (my old account was showing A01 error: I think they shadow ban your account so you always see A01 error)
    • Before opening 7-eleven app, change location to WA or Perth to be specific.
    • Connect to Perth VPN using SurfShark.
    • Open 7-eleven app and search for fuel price.
    • After retreiving fuel price, disconnect VPN and tap lock. (Without changing device location)

    Worked for me ;)

    Method still working for me on iOS and MacOS.

    1. Open GeoPort (https://geoport.me)
    2. Connect device
    3. Enable fuel mode, select region, select fuel type
    4. Simulate location
    5. Connect NordVPN on iPhone to state matching the fuel location
    6. Open 7-11 app and click "Find my best local price"
    7. Disconnect NordVPN and stop location in GeoPort
    8. On iPhone, switch networks, from WiFi to cellular, or vice versa, or similar.
    9. In 7-11 app, lock in fuel price

    It is more difficult now. Android Studio Method - kept getting Error A01 and new accounts got banned (E09) straightaway. Change device id not working. 711 is mornitoring the ip address as well i believe as I did not use vpn.

              @akay0402: I'm just assuming it passes because a lot of the stuff is regarding integrity as well as 7-Eleven not seeing whats on your phone.

              It worked for me and is still working (for same state) lock ins.

                not having any luck with Pixel 8 and Android 14, even after downloading new fingerprints (with fpa command in adb) https://imgur.com/a/uNccoVB

                but i've seen the same conclusion from this GH issue and on XDA.

      Figured out! Just went through the whole process again and created a new AVD… It worked for old and new accounts, no 01/09 errors.

        Don't suppose you'd right up a new guide for us? There are at least 3 long guides that you're supposed to merge somehow. Its hard to know what's needed and what's outdated.(No stress, this isn't a small task, I know)

    Was having issues on iphone + ifakelocation method. Was getting E03 errors. Did a fresh wipe of iphone, reinstalled 711 app + new account.

    connect iPhone running iOS 14.8
    close 711 app
    start iFakeLocation on Windows
    fake location to WA
    open 711 app
    search for price on app, do not hit lock yet
    stop iFakeLocation on Windows
    lock in price

      locking again after following penguin and bugmot's steps. had some issues with login which i thought was related to magisk denylist / deviceid spoofing but it turns out it was adaway blocking 7/11 login handshake resulting in - primary error: 3; for URL https://tags.tiqcdn.com/utag/7-eleven/main/prod/utag.js

      note that this wasn't ever a issue previously because i've also had adaway on my phone.

    I’m in VIC, but the only interstate lock that works is NSW.
    Using GeoPort on a Windows laptop with an IPad(OS17.5.1) and NordVPN.
    Does anyone know why I get A01 when I try to lock in WA or QLD?

    Open GeoPort
    Connect device
    Enable fuel mode, select region, select fuel type
    Simulate location
    Connect NordVPN on iPad to state matching the fuel location
    Open 7-11 app and click "Find my best local price"
    Disconnect NordVPN and stop location in GeoPort
    In 7-11 app, lock in fuel price

      Try stopping GeoPort but keep VPN going for lock.

        Mine seemed to work for locking interstate without VPN. Same process as described by many: after finding price, stop GeoPort, then lock fuel price.

    I'm using Android Studio and have followed the various guides from the last two pages of this thread.
    I noticed that GPS Setter for me shows my location as Googleplex despite having an actively "played" location in GPS Setter.
    Could this be an issue as to why the locks aren't working? Or is this an isolated issue that I personally need to fix up in order to be able to successfully lock?

        Google Maps also shows my location as Googleplex. Even while a WA location is active in GPS Setter.

          It is not right and it has to be the desired location in goole map. So that means GPS setter is not working for you. What about in the emulator settings? Did you try to change location and see how it goes?

          I am still trying around and I still do not have a 100% working method - sometimes it works and sometimes it does not…

      Actually I find I don't even need GPS Setter with AVS. I just change location in the AVS settings and turned off GPS Setter.

      Only same state locks though, I don't have a VPN to try interstate.

      I can confirm it is working yesterday. What is the issue? I wanted to give up unfortunately 711 is still the cheapest fuel near me.

                      @PorkHunt: try couple times and you will get it. I still got A01 sometimes but 100% successful lock after couple times of trying. I have locked for a group of friends and never fail

    To those who were confused with device id lock and account lock: (anyone please correct me if I was wrong)

    Account lock: you would get an email saying your account was blocked. When you log in it will shows Error G09. Solution: apply for a new account using new email address; or contact them???

    Device lock: you will not be able to lock and it will always show Error A01. Also, any new account created on this device will be banned straightaway and showing another Error G09. Solution: a new AVD or a new device.

    How to identify device lock? Sometimes I got A01 but sometimes it went through. Just apply for a new account and see whether it allows you to log in.

    Tips: I use icloud+ feature: hide my email.

      I usually got A01 Error but still lock the price successfully after couple times. So A01 is not device lock

        A01 is not device lock but if your device is locked and if you are trying to lock the price using a locked device through a normal account, it will shows A01. My iPhone 15 is device lock so I cannot either sign a new account on that which will result in G09; or lock the price using true location which will show A01 always.

    I'm having a strange problem setting up android studio on macbook with M1 chip. I can lock successfully after setup but every time I shut down the virtual device and start it again, the device goes back to initial config with Magisk installed but no other apps/modules that I installed. Anyone else had this problem and managed to resolve it? TIA

        So are 2 of the 3 near me. The third one was 174.9, and I got 8 cents off with the AFL app and Coles voucher.

        (I just checked and it is still 174.9 now)

          Crazy pricing at the moment. Within 10 minutes drive in Brisbane prices range 163.9 to 229.9.
