  • This or a $500 iPad? Thoughts?

    • +1

What's your usage case? Working on it? Streaming? Browsing? Special apps? Security required?

      • Mainly streaming and used by the kids.
Just want that "lag" that some android tablrts are known for.

        • You want lag?? If you want lag you could probably get a cheaper tablet…

    • +1

$500 iPad is only going to be 64Gb storage.
So you'd need to leverage cloud services extensively.

But if that suits your use case, it's likely going to perform as well or better and hold its value.

Ye, just got kids to stream and play games. I'm leaning towards iPad as well.

Just wanted to utilise my google reward for the "free" apps instead of buying them on Apple haha

      Apple suck. Pretty simple. Lol

  • Hmm im expecting more from $569 device

    • What more do you expect for $569?

      • snapdragon processor maybe?

      • Maybe similar specs to Xiaomi Pad 5?
        120Hz Screen
SD860 (SD855+ overclocked which is already SD855 overclocked)

Would be great if Lenovo nudges the price down further.

$509 from Lenovo education store https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/677209.

Mine arrived last week. Great value for the price. Mainly use it for entertainment and browsing through apps. Only con is the camera sucks (front and back) if you are going to use it for video calls.

    • Any lag while browsing or switching between apps?

      • No lag. The 8gb ram there for a reason.

        • Will this be a better option than xiaomi and Lenovo’s tablets for a kindy or yr1 kid (school)?

    • How is the pen, and how would it go for kids games like Minecraft?

      • Pen is decent, but not the best in terms of responsiveness. Good enough for kids.

  • It says optional pen?
