    I have found shopback quite dodgy and it rarely gets my purchase tracked or approved successfully.
    I suspect the 20% may not apply to the already discounted products.

    Rep has previously stated that in the event the store denies the cash back, there's nothing they can do to to make them give the cash back, and the only recourse is for the customer to call the ACCC.

    The forums are full of people complaining about never getting any cash back, sometimes to the orders of hundreds of dollars. So it seems like there's no way you can be sure that a cash back will be approved or not, and if it's not, you're out of luck.

    They're very quick to get the affiliate marketing, but if you get stuck getting a payout, it will always be you holding the bag and not shopback. It's honestly not worth the hassle.

      Had the same issue with Door Dash.. Ordered some very overpriced food due to the generous cashback. After 3 months and an 'investigation'.. sorry. order was not tracked.. no cashback. I just don't waste my time anymore and just find the best possible price.

    FYI I got caught out on the last deal. Tried to be clever by ordering 4 separate orders in case I had to return 1. But can only order once per click. Ie. Multiple orders need to click through CR for each purchase.

          Mine just tracked - but in a pretty weird way, each item I bought got its own tracked notification!

        If Myer hasn’t tracked within an hour, I’m pretty sure that it didn’t work as it’s happened to me before. Even when I try and lodge a claim, it gets rejected. Luckily I ordered clearance so the cashback would have just been a sweet bonus.

    Thanks OP. I made 2 orders and got them tracked. However, it's not exactly 20%. Does anyone know how they calculate the cashback?
    Example: order total for one item: $260, shopback value: $47.36 (~ 18%). No delivery charges

      -10% for GST on total and you get that as your base rate for cashback. Howevr, it looks like Myer GST is calculated higher as a $19.00 order got $1.73 charged. Making it $17.27 as my base total and 20% of that is $3.454

        You sure Myer GST is calculated higher? $17.27 x 1.1 = $19.00, that looks like 10% to me.
