  Do you have longer power leads at all? An extension cord run to a 1m lead doesn't look real good when running around the ceiling.

  Further to above, bought 2 x 5m and 1 x 10m. The 10m and 1 x 5m failed in relation to the lights never switching off properly and going to blue lights on. Both happened in first 3 months which apparently means they have short circuited.

  To their credit they were very quick at acknowledging and have sent a replacement/refund, so that was good.

  Other issue is previous LED's i've bought have mounting tape on the strip, these did not and could only use all the clips etc and mount these to the wall instead. I found this an issue as you needed lots of clips to mount them flush and the clips didn't look great if clearly visible.
