I advise you to add the products you want to your Amazon Wish List for easy access.
  • You must click through our "Amazon Flash Sale" page for your order to be eligible for 10% Cashback.
Clicking through the standard Amazon Australia merchant page will result in Standard Cashback Rates.

    Ok, thanks

  • Sweet!

  • OP, you are working at mid-night again

    • +11

Yeah, first of 3 in a row hehe ;)

      • -1

Hi Rep, will Amazon UK via AU work? Thanks!

        • Absolutely!

          • Orders from Amazon US/UK sellers are eligible for Cashback, so long as the transaction is placed through Amazon AU.
          • @gotyourback: Is the 10% cashback for every single category, even those which are normally ineligible / 0% cashback?

            • +3

              @zzzman: Every single category :)

      • Does this mean there will be more Amazon deals at midnight tomorrow? 🧐

        • +2

Not Amazon, but there will be more deals coming.

  • Crazy, might buy shares in Amazon before then

  • Wohoo.. oculus here i come

    • +4

“Orders with Amazon Promotional Credits applied will not be eligible for Cashback.”

      • agree, im buying with amazon giftcard and partly cash, not promo credits

        • -1

I assume you were talking about Oculus Quest 2 which will come with $100 Amazon Promotional Credits…

      • +6

Difference between using Promotional Credits to pay for it, or buying an item that comes with Promotional Credits.

  • After spending $275 with "Amazon Flash Sale" page, then will not earn any further cashback beyond $25?
So need to use the "standard Amazon Australia merchant page" instead for any additional orders within the time period?

    • +5

No, the standard Amazon Australia merchant will be turned off during the Flash Sale time period to avoid this.
Once the Flash Sale is over, you can continue shopping at Amazon as usual :)

      • +1

Thanks for the confirmation and deal :) Will be good to use on the categories that are usually 0% like pantry :D

        • +1

          Enjoy!

      • Thanks.

  • +1

Can you buy amazon gift cards on amazon to get this cashback?

    • +3

      Unfortunately not.
You can buy them from our Gift Card Store and stack them with this Upsized Cashback :)

      • Wait… so paying with gift cards will still earn cashback?

        • +5

Yes, but this is only available at a few merchants (Amazon/eBay/DoorDash).
Most merchants don't allow this Cashback Stacking :(

          • @gotyourback: I'm going to cancel the order I just made for two echos. :D

          • @gotyourback: But it has to be gift cards purchased using the Shopback app? I have a SB gift card applied to my account but also normal Amazon gift cards and I cant separate them. So if I pay with this combined gift card balance will I still earn the cashback?

            • @0FoxGiven:

              i can’t separate them

doesn’t that answer your question? if you cant separate it, how will they?

              • @AH: Well as evidenced by the rep's reply below. It doesn't matter and Cashback ought to be tracked. Thanks for attempting to answer a question I didn't ask.

                • @0FoxGiven: I thought I answered the question. Since you cant separate them, it stands to reason that any payment with gift card will track as normal, because shopback cant separate them either.

            • +4

@0FoxGiven: It doesn't have to be ShopBack specific Gift Cards.
Any official Amazon Gift Card will stack with Cashback, you can see the difference between "Gift Card Balance" and "Promotional Balance" here.

Any orders using "Promotional Balance" will not be eligible for Cashback.

              • @gotyourback: What about promotion code on the individual item's amazon page (that cannot be removed once added to the item)

              • @gotyourback: Thanks for confirming :)

      • Can I buy from gift card and still get 10% off?
        Already answered. Thanks

        • +1

          All good :)

  • +1

    Cheers GYB

  • +1

Holy moly. Lucky I saw this. Literally, just ordered stuff, cancelled it now, waiting for tomorrow. Finger cross the price won't go higher

  • -6

Finally you guys are doing your part. By the way any VPN deals? Normally it will show up this time.

  • -3

Can you buy gift cards worth $250?

    • +2

Cashback is ineligible for Prime membership subscription purchases, Gift Cards, Kindle Unlimited, Mobile Apps, Audible, Echo Accessories, Kindle Acces

      • I'm assuming this includes Playstation Plus membership card?!

    • already answered above, not if you want 10% cashback.

  • -1

AFL draft on that time, damn you Amazon

    • +3

Just make a wishlist of the stuff you are going to buy and then during that period hit the cashback link and add the wishlist to cart and checkout.

      • I have always avoided adding things to wishlist as I thought that voided cashback. Glad to hear that I can add to wishlist (just not my cart) beforehand which will make things easier.

    • +2

      AFL draft on that time

Maybe Collingwood can get 10% off Nick Daicos ???

  • -1

Can this deal be staked with this?:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/664837

    • cannot use the $5 the promo credit I believe

      • What? Do you mean the other deal which gives you the $5 credit doesn’t work?

        • You cannot use Promo Credit and expect to get cashback - you won't.

Likewise, you cannot earn cashback for buying Amazon (or any other) Gift Cards on Amazon.

All of the info is in the Post. RTFM

    • +2

      Unfortunately not :(

    • +1

basiclly any code/ voucher will stop you getting cashback, unless it's approved by shopback

  • +1

    Hi OP,

If I purchase my whole total amount with gift cards, will it still be eligible for 25% cashback?

    Thanks in advance

    • +4

      Hey @Ausdave,
If you use our Amazon Gift Cards available from our ShopBack App, you will be eligible for the 10% Cashback, not 25% :)

      • Thanks.

Realised I made a mistake in my initial comment, got mixed up with $25 and 25%

      • -1

So not all gift cards are eligible for cashback? Ie. Many Amex holders here would have bought gift cards from Amazon direct.

        • +2

Any official Amazon Gift Card will be fine.
Just be sure they appear as "Gift Card Balance", not "Promotional Balance" as shown here.

  • I have my eyes on some 'equipment' on amazon that will help me get really, really high if you catch my drift

  • -1

Wow cashback on S&S. Will cancel order I made today

  • -1

Do I have to empty my cart and add items after clicking from SB??

  • Would I be eligible for cashback when buying items using amazon gift cards that are not purchased through shopback portal?

    • +2

      Yeah that'll be fine.
Just be sure they appear as "Gift Card Balance" as shown here.

      • ah damn i didn't know that worked! I bought ram today and could have saved 8 dollars! thanks op

  • I've already added at least 10 items on my wish list

    • 😦

  • let's see what will amazon offer and whether the item you want will still be in stock during that 2 hours windows. those real deals are normally gone in a flash.

  • How does cashback work? Do I have to select a specific payment option for that?

    • +3

Hey @DanielYuuuu, let me give you a run down.

      • Click the random referral links above to get a nice welcome bonus.
      • Download the ShopBack App on your Mobile Device and create an account.
      • Search for the stores you would like to shop at (in this case, it'll be Amazon Flash Sale at 6PM AEDT).
      • Click through to their Merchant Page to view their Cashback Rate/Offers/Cashback Rules/T&C’s.
On App, it is the red banner at the bottom of the screen.
      • Be sure to read these as they will vary from brand to brand.
      • Shop as usual, following our listed Cashback Rules/T&C’s.
      • Cashback is calculated on the value of your order (minus GST & Shipping)

20% Cashback on an order value of $100
      $100 / 1.1 = $90.91
      $90.91 * 0.20 = $18.18 Cashback

      • Be sure to not apply any Discount/Promo/New Customer Codes to your order unless they’re listed on the ShopBack Merchant Page.
      • Cashback will be tracked to your account within 48 hours, and redeemable after the timeframe specified on the Merchant Page.

If I've missed anything or you have any further questions, feel free to send me a DM :)

      • Just checking we are not limited to how we purchase to be eligible for cashback? eg browser on computer, browser on mobile or mobile app?

        • +2

No limitations on how to purchase, Browser/App are both fine.
Our App has an in-built browser which allows for less third-party software to interfere with tracking, so you might have more success using our App if you tend to use VPNs/AdBlockers/Other Loyalty or Rewards Extensions/etc on browser.

          • @gotyourback: How do you use shopback via Browser on mobile?
            Chrome mobile doesn't allow extensions.

Right now microsoft store shopping cart is broken using the shopback app browser… I am waiting for xbox stock, but if I am out away from computer i wont be able to use Shopback.

      • Do I pay for the full amount when purchasing an item? And receive the 10% off refund back to my bank account in a few days?

        • Yes, and no. If after 75 days your cashback is approved you will receive the 10% (of ex-GST purchase amount, up to $25) in your shopback account which you can withdraw to your bank account/paypal (minimum of $10.)

  • This combined with Amex $20 vouchers would be awesome

  • Bought $200 gift card from amazon today so if i buy stuff from amazon using these gift card $200 credit b/w 6 pm to 8pm aedt today instead of credit card. Will this be eligible for 10% shopback caahback?

    • Yes. Gift card is fine as long as it's not promotional credit

  • +1

Your First Subscribe & Save Order will be eligible for the 10% Cashback rate, your reoccurring S&S orders will not be eligible.

So we'd still get cashback if we bought something with sub & save previously but cancelled the subscription after?

    • +1

I believe so, but let me confirm with my colleague in the morning :)

      • Hi gotyourback,
Any update on this? Could you please reconfirm?
        Thanks

        • +2

          Still awaiting a response :(

    • +1

      Update:
Yes you'll still earn Cashback, so long as the category of the Subscribe & Save item is eligible for Cashback.

  • Would items with Amazon promoted coupons be eligible?

    • no

      • how do you know?

I have items where you can click a box to receive a 20% discount. You don't enter any codes, it just automatically reduces the price at checkout. Will this be ok?

        • Cashback is ineligible when products are Returned, Exchanged, Cancelled, OR use promo/voucher codes not listed on ShopBack.

          • @ce5himm: but there's no codes to list.. all you're doing is clicking a box.

          • @ce5himm: Yea but those are not really codes. It's just automatically applied with a click. SB needs to clarify that i think

            • +2

@DrScavenger: Let me ask my colleague to confirm with Amazon in the morning.
              Cheers!

    • +7

Hi all, we've just received confirmation from Amazon:

"Promotions with automatic discounts are called Price at Checkout.
Customers can tick this box and it won’t affect cashback.
As long as they don’t manually enter a code in the 'Promo Code' field, they won’t have an issue."

If you have any further questions, let me know :)
      Cheers!
