Don’t know anyone who has this. Stick with what is known.

    • vivo is well know in india - similar to oppo

I have a x50 lite, it's fine, everything works, camera is great. Sometimes in the morning it's a bit shagged and I reset it, then that doesn't happen for a long time. Been using for a year and haven't done a reset or anything. I'd highly recommend them for the price.

On a side note, it's HD+ only around 1280x720? Might be just a small error in the specs

  • Same at HN & Officeworks. Reviews seem like it's a pretty decent phone. 5G sub $300. Oppo A54 might compare to this but it's $298.

    • Still too much for a possible lemon…

      • 2 Year bricks and mortar warranty - in the unlikely event it is a lemon - you're covered.

I got one for a client to use for a work phone and it does everything I wanted it to, which was pretty much just to provide gps and image data and to scan QR Codes. Fairly clean Android, I develop using Flutter and the camera and gps data come through with no problems.

The camera is better than expected, I rate it roughly on a par with the pixel 3, which is a great camera.

    5G works well.

I was convinced to buy it by the Gadget Guy review.

It does a good job as a 5g modem and works well as a basic smartphone. Client wanted 5g so it could be used as a modem and does that well, otherwise I'd have gone with the Poco X3 Pro or Pixel 3, but it was better than expected. Note it is too slow for a game phone but works fine for everything I needed.

It is better than you would expect for the price of $350, let alone $258.

Apparently Oppo, RealMe and Vivo are owned by the same parent company.

    • or real me 5g - amazon

  • Got a second hand A graded Huawei mate 20 pro for $270, best phone ever.

  • How this phone comparing to Vivo Y33S? Where the best price to get it now?
