  • The Konnected range seems to be cheaper here. https://smartguys.com.au/smart-alarms.html

EDIT: Most kits are out of stock except for the pro conversion kit and starter 18 zone conversion kit.

  • Not great deals on the Shelly's if I am being honest. Oz Smart Things are cheaper for the 1 & 2.5 and only 7c more expensive for the 1PM.

  • I need to work out what the best Konnected system that will integrate and not replace the existing as I want to retain the on wall alarm panel but I cant figure out which kit will allow me to remotely arm/disarm.

    • Hi DfknG, to retain existing alarm functionality you would be wanting the Interface variants. Then you'll need to decide between the Wi-Fi or Ethernet option.

      • Thanks, unless i'm misunderstanding the integration kit wont allow me to arm and disarm though. It will however give me the ability to monitor sensors.

        • Yes DfknG, Konnected Interface does offer this capability but it does require programming on your existing conventional alarm to accept these commands through the interface. You will need to consult your existing alarm system manual to confirm. When programmed correctly, you can get arm/disarm and view sensor status through Konnected - as well as have all the controls from the existing keypad system.

    • I bought a $10 esp8266 and downloaded the konnected firmware onto it, hooked it into my Bosch alarm it's it's working fine. Have a read of the documentation if you want to save some money. The original panel was basically an esp8266 with a breakout board.

  • Op, any Shelly Dimmer 2 ?

    • Sorry Sunny84, we are currently not holding any stock of the Dimmer2. OzSmartThings offers them however.
