Warning: orders takes forever to actually ship - worth reading previous threads.

        1) I don't think this is a valid neg according to the guidelines, the rep has clearly stated the shipping window. He's upfront about it.
        2) be nice as a store rep, you represent your company
        3) 1-2 weeks to ship (dispatch) it does feel a bit slow. Do you mean 1-2weeks for it to arrive at someone's house?

        • +3

I don't think previous guy is talking about the upfront bit…

People were saying it was 6 weeks after they got a dispatch notification that they followed up as it didn't arrive only for the rep to say "oh we're waiting for stock to arrive still - the couriers are really slow… Do you want a refund?" followed by it suddenly getting dispatched and picked up… they don't seem to know what's going on.

          • @Ficklehuman: Oh issues with seller. Haha yeah maybe they're just bad in that case.

@incipient: Sorry, bad at what? Delivering a coffee, made to order, same day or next day? Happy to arrange for that to happen, however we'd need to charge a premium for that they of service.

My bean supplier roasts (to order) and ships within 24 hours.

Might be time to do something to reassure your potential customers you're improving things, or stop posting for a bit. Reputation is definitely a thing here.

        • -2

Totally agree. What could we do to reassure? Considering the unpredictable postal/courier network issues. On our couriers is Fastway, did you know they're on the verge of throwing a national strike.

@[Deactivated]: I'm in business myself, and fortunately b2b not b2c! Dealing with customers I legitimately don't know. It's hard. Sometimes people will have one random bad experience and stick with that forever.

But yeah, I don't know, it's hard. Try to commit to dispatching within 48h of orders or something maybe? "we've improved our warehouse logistics, and now can get in-stock orders out within 48h!"

            • -4

@incipient: I hear you loud and clear, b2c expectations are next day, and we have an Amazon to thank for that. Sending out a bag of coffee next day is super and we do that well. However, shipping equipment from our WholeSalers to HQ has proven timely with courier network delays, and then combing the pack with coffee does push out timelines which we are conscience of, and state in our shipping terms.

            • -1

@incipient: When it comes to coffee we ship within 48 hours. As per kit, it's hard because it's totally dependent on wholesalers and their supply chain — yes, B2C is super difficult.

Shipment times has always been in their post and they are open and accurate about how long it takes.

My order with them has been totally fine. Yes it took long(er) than Amazon would, but I never expected that.

Don’t tie your next morning coffee to a product that’s promised 7-14 days to ship + auspost long shipping times. (Which they can’t even do anything anyway)

      Fair is fair

I have ordered with them before and it was totally uneventful and came within the time they promised even though auspost took extra long.

Products were exactly as expected and I like their mental health focus.

And most importantly prices are much cheaper than other places I have seen.

Not sure why people complain it takes so long when shipment times clearly mentioned in the post.

    • Thanks mate.

  • This guys are dodgy. Ordered this "bargain" in early Novemeber. Heard nothing from them for weeks. Followed up.. they said it would ship soon. Never shipped. Now they tell us they haven't even ordered from their supplier yet and it won't ship until next year. Funnily enough though they took our money.

    • What's your order number?
