          Not in every delivery - I had +/- 7 deliveries in the past 2 weeks, didn't have any.
          From the 16 deliveries in the past +- 4 weeks I had 1.

    Is it problematic having google chromecasts at home, and say a firestick in the caravan?

    I have a chromecast in the caravan atm, but tbh, it's a pain in the arse. I have to hotspot the chromecast to my wife's phone (to create the 'wifi') and then stream from my phone to the chromecast.

    Can I stream directly from my phone to a firestick in the caravan?

      Depends on whether you need to stream content from internet, or just from your phone
      If you are streaming content from internet
      Then with Firestick or GoogleTV you just need to share the internet by turning on hotspot to the stick
      then use the remote of the stick to control what to play

      It would still need to connected to the internet/wifi on its own, you can't stream to a device that isn't itself connected to something. In order to use Fire TV's mirror feature, both devices would need to be connected to the same wifi network, so you'd have the identical problem.

      Not sure if this is helpful:
      I have a chromecast which I set up using the hotspot on my phone.

      I use the same hotspot on my phone (using mobile data for internet) to stream to the chromecast.

      If this is what you're trying to achieve, let me know if I can help with what I did during the setup process.

      You probably need a travel router like this, but you still need to provide internet if you stream online.

      I have a Chromecast but it sits in a box and never used. Never really liked the cumbersome nature, needing to cast etc.
      However the firestick 4k is used every day.

    I feel ripped off. My cart showed $49 with the coupon applied, the PayPal confirmation window showed $49, and now my order confirmation and Paypal receipt show that I was billed $99? WTF?

      Check your credit card. It should only charge you 49$. PayPal shows the full price without discount.

          By the time you hit pay now button, someone would have used your code and completed the payment and when you clicked pay now buton, voucher got redeemed and it took the pending amount from your account

          Cancel the order and maybe try again with new code

          Most likely the promo code you tried to use was used by someone else. The checkout screen would have refreshed prior to processing and would have reverted back to $99 and removed the promo code. This happened to me a few times as I was too slow so I went on the hunt for a new promo code until I could checkout quick enough.

        Thanks, no idea what app to use as I'm not familiar with these types of devices/android. From a quick google search, looks like I'd just have to find an IPTV player to load and an m3u file with all the channels. It's finding the m3u file that might be an issue, especially one that's kept up to date.

    I purchased the same with the 40% off promo by Amazon a couple of weeks back for $59.

    I contacted Amazon customer service and asked if they can credit the price difference. After a few minutes - the customer service rep credited my amazon gift card balance by $10. Maybe you can do this too.

    I gave my JB HiFi code to someone else.

      Yes, it can be done…but

      As mentioned look for smarttubeTV. YouTube vanced is great but more designed for touch screen experience. Phone, tablets. Where smarttubeTV is more geared towards remote control functionality. Fire tv. They both look and function the same. Neither need Google play services (wanted needs microG). Neither have ads.

          On the Fire TV - it's an app you install, and it works ok for Windscribe.
          When I looked into it for Telstra TV, it didn't look like there was support for windscribe VPN (not sure if that changed in the meantime).

          I don't have Nord/PIA so can't comment on those - if I don't forget I'll check tonight if there's an app.

          E.g. I watch movies/series that are only available on Amazon US (or that are only available in AU when you pay for them, but free in US).
          VPN starts automatically, so I don't even think about it anymore.

    I am having issues with casting two apps -

    1. YT Kids . I am unable to cast the YT kids from mobile app to TV. It cant find Firestick. I want to be able to control what I want to play for the kid on the TV.
    2. The cast button on Disney+ app is vanished after I upgraded to Firestick app from my Chromecast. Kind of annoying.

    Before you ask -
    1. Firestick and Mobile are in same WiFi network. I am able to cast - Netflix, Paramount+, Youtube.

    Can anyone help please.

      Disney+ doesn't support cast control for Fire tv like Netflix and YouTube (as long as you have installed these apps on the stick, otherwise you wont be able to control).

            @boxall: sometimes guests want to cast ori find something interesting o while scrolling on mobile and cast it. Just like you find something interesting on Youtube and cast it on screen

        I think it's the same for Google TV. If you have the app installed it loads that rather than casts. Bit of a pain.
        Fire Stick uses screen mirroring though, not Googlecast.

    Toll "priority" seems to be really hit and miss. One stick I ordered arrived the next day, another one is still in transit - ordered Thursday afternoon - supposedly picked up and moved to one other location in Sydney (since Friday no movement at all - according to tracking).
