          Device Non-Return Fee means a fee which is equal to the amount of the discount You received when

          Device Non-Return Administration Fee means a $60 administration fee which will be charged by
          Asurion in addition to the Device Non-Return Fee

          As per above it looks like that person is deliberately spreading wrong information.

          • @randomrandom: also in the verification code email from Samsung you get on Trade-up, they still have the old T&Cs without administration fees, if it comes to that, it's likely that we can argue admin fee was not in the T&Cs.

            Either way, it seems to me the safest thing to do is to send some old phone you have where they will only deduct; this is from the T&Cs

      This deal started on Thursday night and the earliest someone can receive the phone is Saturday. And within a day, in the weekend, you managed to let Samsung/Asurion know that you are not going to return the old phone and they (on a SUNDAY) charged you the $560 plus whatever you old phone's trade in value. And you managed to see the same transaction on your credit card on the same day a merchant charged a credit card? That is lightning fast if what you said is true! HA HA HA

    If anyone having issues with Trade-up code you need to send email to [email protected]. Manage to get this email after calling samsung. Hopefully they will be able to help us and allow us to buy this bargain..

    Managed to snag a Galaxy S21 for $359 after trade-up and asking for the $100 discount code via chat support. That newsletter code turned out as a $50 JBHiFi gift card in my email.

      the deal is only days old, there is no way that they would of already charged him the trade in cost. He is just trolling. You have like a week or 2 to send in the phone, we haven't even got past that grace period, let alone time for them to investigate, warn you, charge ur credit card Etc.

    Not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Ended up getting $200 chat codes + $50 sign up code. After trade in of $55 for S9 the final price is $344 for s21 128gb. There are posts here of people paying sub $200.

      Samsung never sends tracking numbers for some weird reason. Ring em up and they’ll give it to you.
      They send phones through StarTrack express so it shouldn’t take long.
