  Thinking of moving over from mate. My modem has just died on me (or rather, is emitting a very high-pitched whine), is there any fairly simple modems that you would recommend?

  Just gaming oriented is the main thing, but doesn't have to be top-end! Trying to avoid bells and whistles as I'm very much in financial hardship.

  I have been on a 250/25 $99.95 plan with Superloop for 6 months and was about to churn out to someone else, so will take advantage of the extended 6 months offer.

  Speeds have been very consistent but they do get close to the cap on the Bendigo POI - something I never saw with Aussie Broadband.

  The odd 'slow' browsing speeds when a Speedtest says 250 down, but these are pretty rare.
