How does Xiaomi phones compare to oppo? Software any good?

      • +2

The guy didn't say it was Oppo. And Poco is a lineup of phones from Xiaomi, like Galaxy is to Samsung.

  • Those specs are beautiful but does it come with warranty?

    • +8

1 year warranty via Banggood, so basically hope it doesn't break.

  • Anyone had any issues with these? How is battery life?

    • +1

I've been getting 2 days per charge with casual use (recharging from like 15% at the end of the second day).
Usually 1-2 hours of video (youtube, netflix), no real gaming except some puzzle games and a couple of hours of internet browsing.

Fast charge takes like 30-40m. The charger it comes with is even faster but gets hot.

I think it's a great phone for the price, only real down side is the very mediocre camera.

redmi note 10 pro , has better battery life and camera

    • I have an x3 pro - so similar. Normally when I go to bed my phone is still on more than 50%. I charge it every night and I don't think I've ever seen it get to the low battery power save mode..

The only things I don't like about the x3 pro are:
      - IPS screen rather than amoled. Blacks aren't as black. The F3 has amoled though.
      - No USB alt mode (can't use a USB-C docking station to plug the phone into a monitor/TV and peripherals)
      - Phone with case on is pretty large. My previous phone was an LG v50 which was a bit smaller and a bit thinner, and I notice the difference in size.

Otherwise no problems with the phone. This isn't my first xiaomi phone and they've always been good to me.

    Good price.

The 6GB/128GB version is also down to US$309 which is just US$10 more expensive than at it's cheapest.

  • Get this from Aliexpress sales three months ago at same price. Best one can get at this price

  • I never buy anything from Banggood before. Any advice for my first time?

I bought it on 31st July and received it today in Sydney. Excellent phone. Was using S20 FE before, but this seems way snappier and smooth to use. Only thing I miss is the convenience of Wireless charging.

      • +1

What happened to your S20 FE?

        • +2

Nothing happened. Just wanted to try something new 😊

      • -1

Oh no, no wireless charging…id say no then. I was one click away from buying it off til i saw ur comment.

      • Wait. You switched from a S20FE to this? Why? lol. S20 FE is a decent phone.

        • +2

I didn’t say S20FE is not a decent phone. It definitely is, but just wanted to try this one as a change and for customisations etc.

      • Wow you’re lucky, 12 July to WA, but stuck with aramex in Sydney. Waiting for 25 bd +5 to claim refund.

        • Well going with the border restrictions put in by WA, you may get it in 2 months 😅

  • VoLTE and 5G? I thought grey imports are dead these days.

    • Has both

        working hassle-free in australia?

        • Some people say it works fine, others have issues.

          • +1

@aligind4h0us3: Probably carrier dependent. Same as One Plus phones.

            • +1

@ozhunter68: There are threads on WP with for example, Telstra. Some people having issues getting it working and others not.

        • Boost I always had issues with VoLTE Xiaomi phones. No idea why. Samsung phones would work fine.

Xiaomi with Optus resellers never an issue.

    • Both are working at least on Optus out of the box.

      • Nice .. prefer Telstra.. maybe I shouldn't give up on grey imports do easily .. might check the OP9 threads.

      • Does Voice over Wi-fi works with Optus? Thanks

        • +1

Yes. Working for me out of the box.
