  this is single core fusion cpu…it is…real…slow…like really slow, why is it in a regular notebook i may never know, but even a netbook would be too underpowered

    It is probably to keep the costs down whilst trying to reduce battery usage…
    This is alright compared to a netbook as it has a bigger screen.

  and even for $199 you'd be thinking seriously about it due to the extremely weak CPU

    Haha, was just about to post a CPU Benchmark reference. For anyone too lazy to look, it's as powerful as a Pentium 3 (Mobile!). You could probably process using an abacus faster than this thing.

  One of the worst CPUs available in the market today. The $199 netbook (You know what it is) is almost 3x faster than this. DO NOT BUY….

  fyi i had the C-50 version of this, this is the single core version whereas the C-50 is the dual core, still slow for a laptop but faster than this! but you can't complain too much for the price, afterall gamers won't be buying this to play games on!

  It is a very basic processor. We market it as a companion PC, sort of like a tablet, something you would not use as an everyday machine for obvious speed reasons. It is great for playback of DVD, youtube, basic stuff. Having a 14" screen and DVD burner means it is more than just a netbook and can be used for various tasks.     i've said before the frame and connections and everything is fine… i don't have an issue with it

    its just the rotten cpu

    in a perfect world they'd offer it with an e450…

    I gotta agree with Horize guy. For the right person this is great. Yeah the processor is super slow by most standards but look at the price point for a decent screen size and dvd burner - it will suit some. A bit too slow for me, but great for some. For a little bit more power (and a little more price) look at units with E300 or E450 processors.
