  • Just wondering exactly who is the Redeemable Electronic Gift Card for,

I mean which store can you use it at? Western Digital online store or the store one purchaes the WD drive from?

Link to webpage of WD promotion here, list conditions and retailers participating in this promotion, hopefully find a good deal,.. I'm aiming for 5TB as I don't think there is any bigger,..

"…a MasterCard Electronic Gift Card from https://corporateprepaidgiftcards.com.au/. Value will be based on the Participating Product
      purchased, valued at either $20, $25 or $30… "

      From the terms and conditions

      • Cool so can be used anywhere 👍😁

Again finding a good deal from a retailer, so I can see Office Works offering the best price for the 5T My Passport though I don't see this promotion within there webpage for the 5TB WD drive

Edit: whoops it's a WD Elements drive which doesn't qualify at $159

What benefit does this $93 2tb drive + $20 cashback offer over a train which I can also afford? Or more importantly these drives for $69 straight off the bat:

From what information I can see is just the design, packaged software and warranty length one being $69.00 2 years and $93.00 3 years.
I wouldn't call it a major advantage for my usage but some might want that.

    • Possibly better encryption and/or backup software (which virtually no one uses)

Are there any vouchers left? Limited to 1000x and it's posted on OzB! How hasn't the allocation been exhausted in the first 5 mins? (Been running since May!)
    Ha!

    • How does one know if they've reached the 1000 mark?

      • Could call Gap Marketing in Sydney. But don't tell them it was me who said that! Ha!
Gap is managing the promo for WD the T&C's say. As usual.

        (Know the MD…) lol…

    • Well I can't find any great deals for the 5TB range of Harddrives, lot of places are out of stock also

  • I put in a claim near the end of June, and haven't heard anything yet.

  • seems to be a bad deal, limits the number to 1000.

same as the afterpay, they set limits to discounts.

  • received my $20 MasterCard today. Thanks, OP
