        xiaomi, oppo, realme samsung the all round 300 dollars mark when on sale. these low/ middle range phones are actully fast cos you wouldn't need that many apps on them like your main phone.

    Noob question if anyone could help. Reading the specs it says the phone’s on Android 9 OS. Will I still be able to update the OS to Android 10 (or higher in the future)?

      You can upgrade to Android 10 straight out of the box. This phone comes with 3 years of security updates and 2 years of guaranteed software upgrades.

          correct, the same as Microsoft stops supporting WinXP and Win7
          Note that you should count from the launch date, which was around Dec/2019
          hence you will only be able to upgrade to Android 11, but not 12

            This does seem to make iPhones look a bit better because you can still update to the latest iOS after 2-3 years.

      You get android 10 out of the box, and it can be upgraded to 11 immediately. Bought one the other day for $64.

          have one of these, updated to Adroind 11 about six weeks ago, decent phone but it is a bit slow, as in apps take a few seconds to load.
