you have a USB-C hub and want to use it on a computer without USB-C port.

Exactly my case. Bought cheap msi laptop with usb c port i thought i was smart but actually the port doesnt support DP or anything basically just like usb 3 with shape of usb C. Regretting till now. And yes i have also stupid lenovo hub with usb c, few usb 3 in the front but the usb 3 does not work if the hub isnt connected to a pc. Weird….

    End of rant…

Any offer on male-to-male adapters? Asking for a friend

  • I had a batch of these adapters for my wireless headphones dongle, then found this version from amazon that are half the length which I much prefer: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B08MXF73V5

    • The difference is one is USB 2.0 and one is USB 3.0. Much more needs to be packed into a USB 3.0 adapter.

      • Good point. My use case is very simple so didn't need USB 3

I put in one order but I couldn't pay with PayPal cuz it's under $1.50. Then I upped the order to 2, and the costs dropped dropped to $0.49. Then added a third and the item came to $6.61. looks like the purpose of deal is to get credit card details to avoid use of PayPal. Negative votes from me.

Works fine for me. Nice accusation there. Who is trying to steal your CC details? Cabletime? No it's a marketplace. AliExpress? Alipay is larger than PayPal so I seriously doubt that would be a fraud. Me? How?

The mental gymnastics to arrive at "they're stealing credit cards" is incredible really. Sometimes I wish I could study these kinds of beings and see how their mind differs from the norm.
