A really good price for a power supply from Corsair with platinum rating and 850W, supporting single rail and multi rails as well.
The HX850 currently costs around $240 to $300 at Ebay/Amazon/Scorptec.
Note: It just happened that I needed a power supply and bought this one C&C. I've been reading only good things about RM or RMx models but given that the HX850 is more premium than RM850x which usually costs around this price range, I guess this could be a steal.

is this larger than standard size?
It's longer than "regular" PSUs. 180mm compared to most that sit around 150-160mm which is longer still compared to the ATX PS/2 "spec"
I have HX1000i, good quality PSU and highly recommended (also very expensive)

I think they meant it's unequal to compare the Corsair RM1000X which is 80plus gold to the Super Flower 1000W 80plus platinum.
One's Gold rated and the other is Platinum
The equivalent to the Super Flower 1000W is the HX1000. I'd pick superflower over Corsair.

Thats actually a really good price considering the sh*t show thats been going on with the pc parts market. I paid ~200 for an RM850x at the end of last year and I thought that was a good price.
