140

Lebara long expiry plans are discounted for existing customer. To access the discounted recharge the customer will need to log into My Lebara, select a payment type (card or PayPal). They will then be able to view the plans.

Plan Days Price Was Data/30 Days
Small 180 days $90 $120 10 GB
Medium 180 days $105 $140 20 GB
Medium 360 days $200 $280 20 GB

This is the cheapest I could find for the existing customers on these plans.

Lebara uses Vodaphone network. I have used them for many years now, and no major drama. I have stuck around because of their international call inclusions. This is the link to their medium 360 days plan without the offer. It will show you terms and conditions and the international call inclusions. https://www.lebara.com.au/mobile-plan/medium-360-day-sim/

      Done. Thanks.

If you don't need more than 10G and Optus reception is good at places you live and work, Coles mobile works out better at $150 for 120GB with 365 day expiry.

Also has same if not better international inclusions than Lebara.

Having said that Lebara offers the best among Voda MVNOs

    • Thank you. Now that you say that, I should have probably investigated the international inclusions saved some $$ and gone with Coles. Sometimes Coles plans are also discounted. Too late for me. With the new post Covid work arrangements, I wouldn't need more than 10 GB.

That's exactly what I did. Didn't need more than 10GB as mostly wfh. And got it during that deal, came down to $130

I'm on Lebara while waiting for a good JB Telstra deal, in the 2166 area and it is absolutely horrendous in regards to reception

  • Support VoLTE and WiFi Calling?

    • -2

      Does have VoLTE.

  • I’m being with Lebara for many years and never had a problem, lately getting constant dropouts even though i have full reception have changed the sim as suggested from helpline but still the same.
Could it be something to do with my iPhone XR causing the dropouts …

Vodafail lately. Luckily I have dual sim.

  • Another month before my current Telstra plan expires, is there a time limit for activation?

Lebara has always been good for me (no dropouts, decent customer service).

Existing customers with large databanks who are disappointed with these deals might contact customer service (or their rep here) for a better option on small 360day plans.

Obviously I can't promise anything, but sometimes if we ask for what we want (and it's fair) then we don't have to change carriers. And that's nice.
