  • I ordered early this morning. Got 1 newsletter code after putting 10 requests through. Seems like it only liked the one with first and surname. Got the loyalty code through the support team not sales team and they ask you for your old Samsung serial number. Didn’t have any issues with trade in.

        I had the issue with getting the trade-up code on my S8 all day yesterday but it worked this morning. Once I had this code it loaded fine on the Samsung website, along with the $50 & $200 voucher codes.

        I accessed the Samsung website on a laptop if this helps…

          I ordered one for my girlfriend through my samsung account (not guest checkout) and i got that confirmed almost instantly.

    Finally got the Newsletter code after more than 10 sign up.

    • How did you sign up?

      • On Samsung Australia website. There is a pop up on the bottom left of the screen. I tried more than 10 times and only 1 code came through but the phone I want now is out of stock. :(

        • I have signed up but no code received since yesterday.

      It's a new Samsung policy to give out the voucher to loyal customer to upgrade their phone. Tell them your phone is cracked and look to upgrade. They should give you the code.

      • Chat twice today with the agents and both said the $200 voucher ended last Friday., wish I could still have one.

        • Go through to the support chat system, I got one today around 11am first time with no resistance whatsoever. Successfully ordered the S21 Ultra 256gb this afternoon.

  • Have the same issue, promo code is not available via chat anymore starting today. Even the promo code generated by chat yesterday is not working anymore.

    • Such a shame was thinking about getting the code to buy an ultra, now the hope is gone.

    • You could see if they will exchange your non working code with a working code. They did that for me late last night, and I used the code early this morning. From hearing what others said I knew it was unlikely they give me the loyalty code from a straight request 'damged phone, need new phone' but I thought they may honour an existing code that should have worked.

      They requested my broken code, checked it, and issued a new code

      • I checked the code when they issue me yesterday night,it was working. Tried it this evening, the code no longer works. Went on the chat and report the issue, they said they are unable to generate code via chat anymore, so gave me an email address to report and problem.

    • I had a code that didnt work and went through the chat and they gave me one that worked. Don't leave the chat until you've checked it worked - they gave me a second broken one before finally the 3rd one worked.

  • I just spoke to live support and was told $200 voucher is no longer available. Did anyone managed to get one today?

    • I managed to get the code half an hour ago (10:30pm Sunday) and place an order with all the discounts. Use the support link https://chatbot.samsungcs-au.com, I didn't fill in the model name or Serial number.

  • Just spoke to samsung chat and i was able to swap my invalid $200 voucher with a valid one. I honestly think, you can still score a $200 voucher if you are connected to the right agent and the agent i spoke to was very friendly, her name was Stacy if it helps anyone. Good Luck Fellas!

    Just got the s21 for $444 after discounts with the iphone 6s trade-in. Codes still working. Brief outline of my experience:
    - didnt receive any newsletter code with gmail. i emailed that address they provided. they replied 24 hours later with the code as others have mentioned
    - took ages to get through to an agent. first agent got cut out just when I was about to get the code! took another couple hours before i could get through again. finally got through but the agent didnt generate the code for me on the spot but said she'd email it to me within a day. it wasn't until 36 hrs later of waiting in anticipation for that code to arrive! nearly lost hope it wasn't going to come.
    - no issues with the trade-in app on my iphone 6s. unsure whether i want to send it back…
    - then spent another half an hour deciding which s21 to go for. but it all worked and got the confirmation email soon after!
    It was a long two days. But it all worked out eventually. THANKS OP!

    Make sure that you have entered a valid credit card in the trade up app .
    Once this is done , you should be able to use the trade in code via browser-enter the full code and submit

    I could be wrong - but I dont think you are going to get any takers

    To get the trade ID someone would need to enter their credit card details in the app… once you dont return the phone that person will be charged by Samsung for the value of the trade.

  • Relative bought this phone on the night of the deal being posted. Got delivered today! Not too sure how the trade in works though because some conditions say that if you don't trade in the phone to them they will deduct you $400 and the trade in value from YOUR card… Very worrying.

      • Did you get another email after the order confirmation email, saying the item has been shipped with tracking number? Or did it magically show up?

        • The invoice email had a tracking link on it, no email when it was on the way.

    • next day delivery to metropolitan area if order placed before 2pm
