Do we get this in Sydney nsw??
Ahhhhh yeah what the hell why is Perth getting Onigiri!!!!
Don't envy us. It taste horrible and not fresh. I have a feeling they spend sometime in the road, the rice taste hard like its not fresh at all.
Agree. Tastes like half cooked rice.
Same, picked one up to try.
It was disappointing from taste wise although the nori was still ok.
To sum up, the $1 spent to experience opening the packaging and crisp seaweed was a silver lining.
Not sure the flavours, but I did see these in 7/11 in Orange NSW. Would have thought Sydney would get them first as we get stock from there. I think there are normally $3, but all were reduced to $1 (about 50 of them)
Definitely in Parra. Don't know the flavors though.
I live in SA but this is such a good deal + from me.
This stuff is really bad. I wouldn't buy it for $1.
It's too dry and the amount of salmon is tiny compared to how much rice there is.Honestly regret buying it.
Thats a shame, i really liked the 7 11 onigiri in japan. Cant say sweet chilli salmon sounds very enticing either.
is onigiri in all 7-11 now?
I wish our 7-eleven's could be even 10% as good as Japan or Thailand. Depressing how crappy our version is compared to Asia.
Definitely to do with competition. We need another chain (lawsons, family mart, etc) so that 711 has to kick it into over drive.
@Jenny Death: I feel like both Coles Express and Ezymart both tried to do that but then when it didn't work they just decided to awkwardly coexist alongside so noone improves
@Jenny Death: I believe creativity, efficiency and hard working mindset is also needed, which we don't see much in this country than Japan.
But also to be fair, our island is mega size with only 1/5 of Japan's population, that makes things much more difficult
Our servos are getting there. The Ampol in Northmead is pretty good. Has the usual pies and sandwiches. But also has a boost juice and a range of chicken tenders, nuggets and wings. Some good bakery shit too. And it's even got some seats set up out front like some Asian ones. 7-11 is getting a wider range as time goes on as well.
I tried it a few times and have to agree. But it is damn filling! 2-3 quantity Gets the job done for me
Jelly Donuts?! I love those, about time they arrived here!
Does your Life increase each time you eat this?
Is there a limit to increasing your HP?Clearance fish is the last thing that will increase your HP haha
So that’s what Alex Kidd was eating!
The Pokemons were a bit after my time.
My man, you're freaking right! All these years! Never really thought about it until now!
Haha, I mean 7 year old me wasn’t going to see onigiri for another twenty years. But man, I can’t go past a 7/11 in Japan without getting a couple.
Unfortunately, not a bargain.
I've learnt the hard way.
Discounted 7-eleven and woolies sushi means it is usually old and dry.
I eat anything and jump for the day old discounted stuff, but several day old sushi pushes the limits.
I get about as much enjoyment eating sand.I thought this was normal even for fresh. I buy the sandwiches. They are decent
YUCK
‘Salmon’
Not saying it's good or bad. But.
I love triangles.
thanks for sharing…im partial to squares myself
