Good price for 2nd gen nest hub. Price beat with officeworks for extra 5%.

Main addition is the sleep tracking function, which they might charge subscription fee from next year
If you do not need that function, better off getting 1st gen which has gone for nearly half the price

  For sure if you can find one. Supposedly the 2nd gen audio quality is better but sounds about the same to me.

I went into a Bunnings a few weeks back and they had this new model for $99

They gave me a few of them for $99 event though that price was meant to be for the other ones
