Just FYI, the seller is Fitech. They do not have a store domain but they have an eBay store with roughly 95% positive feedback.

What makes you think its a worse phone?
The Pixel 8 has its advantages but a Pixel 8a is new (instead of this refurbished deal), its a newer model and it has a higher resolution camera.
Well, you can get it for $617, as someone else mentioned.
But it's a new phone, not refurbished, from JB Hi-Fi, so easier warranty.Got the P8a and it's honestly great if you prefer a smaller form factor. Camera is the only real compromise and it's still good.
It will be this price new probably on the next deal around.
OP thought this was new, bought it, got told it was a refurb, then cancelled and bought for $100 less on eBay. Clearly they need to be more careful, so why not remove the deal because it's clearly a bad one,?
