    Managed to get Good Guys to get the price down to $1300 for the 128gb. Works out well cos I have gift cards + $50 cashback with CBA credit card. so $1200 all up

        Called beforehand AND also had to do a bitch of negotiating in store. I think it helped that I called before.

      @applejack: Did not they price matched Telstra? Why $1300 & not $1279 as selling by Telstra? Any issue with them as not to pricematch?

        They said it wasn't on their list of price matching competitors and they refused to go to 1279 because it was below cost

    Hardly now, OW ready to do price beat. Guy was arguing with me that outright phone was locked but i had to insist him but finally after lot of back & forth, he was ready to brice beat. Costed me $1215.05 for 128gb blue as they had no 256gb in stock.

      I just got pb for iPhone 12 128gb at Officeworks Highett in Vic. The dude said Telstra you’d need to go on a contract so they can’t match that and then I agreed to the price advertised.

      I tried again with the checkout girl and it was successful HAHA. She just asked to see the Telstra offer/screenshot and the manager came and approved it! I also used the receipt posted by Sunny (thanks!)
