When are the new ones coming out?!
Rumours are Airpod 3 coming out sometime this year. No new Pro yet.
Keep seeing rumours about new ones coming out.. I'm holding out with my one gen 1 AirPod.
Mine last about 30 minutes now
@WhyAmICommenting: damn!!!
Just read this properly. Which ear do you have?
@WhyAmICommenting: The right one.
Anyone gone from regular AirPod to these? Are the noise cancellation buds comfortable? When you talk, can you hear yourself in a weird way?
I did, but after a few days I returned the pros
very good sound quality and noise cancelling, however I couldn't get a comfortable fit
small tips were a bit too small, and medium were a bit too large. either feels too tight, or feels too loose
otherwise they feel like a big step up from airpods 2 sound wise
I didn't you could return used earphones. Do all sellers let you return them? That's what had been holding me from buying them as Id like to know if they would fit.
Yeah, same.
When my air pod 1’s fell into wet concrete, I bought some beats Powerbeats pro’s and hated the fit. The in ear part actually hurt me (yes, I tried all the tips).
Went back to AirPod’s and bought 2’s as I was concerned AirPod pros would be uncomfortable like the beats.
Would love to try the pro’s, as everyone that has them raves about them.
Just an aside, i don’t think there was any physical change in the shape between 1 and 2, but I reckon the 1s stayed in better than the 2s. Like, they were glued to my ears when running.
Only Apple Store allows return.
Officeworks accepted return no questions asked
Have the Pro and Non Pro in ear. The non pro models for me kept falling out in under 2 minutes so couldn't use them and gave my set to my partner (she has 2 sets now). The Pro for me are a god send. Fit my ears and friends bought them too after I tried them. Noise cancelling is not super good like over ear headphones, but no model does (Sony or Bose over ears). For me these are way way more comfortable than the non pros because of the rubber tip. There is also after market Foam tips too some people swear by. No echo issues on any way for me on the Pro.
I recently did, I really like the Pros and I’ve been using the originals since launch. They don’t really need to be jammed in my ear canal the same way other noise canceling in ear headphones do (like the Sony WF1000XM3), and the noise cancelling I find to be really effective.
I really like them, they’re a good upgrade for me.
I did and they are sooo much better it’s insane. Recommend. The sound quality, speaker for talking and noise cancelling is great
Will just add that air pod ones were more comfortable for me personally. But I’ve grown to like the pro’s in ear with the small buds. Although I do feel like they block out too much background noise at times
got one from officeworks 4 days ago when were selling them for $310 and jb introduced them for $306. Ended up paying $289 after price beat.
The ones Umart sells are South East Asian version - not AUS version.
There is no difference
I upgraded from gen 1 AirPods to the pros about 2 weeks ago when they were listed on sale here (ebay). Was concerned about them sealing and making the weird “thud” every time you’re all but it seems that little valve thing isn’t just marketing and works. The sound is excellent, the noise cancelling fantastic (I used to wear my Bose QC35 to mow the lawn but this work just as well) and the mic is fantastic for phone calls which the AirPod 1 are terrible for.
A friend gave me some memory foam tips to try as he rates them, but they fall off my ears and I’m quite happy with the Apple silicone ones.
I don’t intend on wearing them for exercising as I have some aftershokz for that but tried the Pros on a run and they are quite good - although I still worry I’ll lose one if I scratch my ear or something.
For reference the AirPods gen 1 for me perfectly to the point I forget they are in my ears, so I was concerned with these being a different shape and not working but are fine too. Sadly my gen1 left only holds charge for about 20 minutes these days so it was time to retire them.
its $304 now
Beats Umart by $3. And if there isn’t a Umart near you, freight.
