At this price wouldn’t it be better to get the pros (when on sale?) Personally I can’t stand the AirPods/buds straight in the ear.
The key word here is “personally”. Personally I can’t stand the little silicon worms straight in the ear.
Yeah I hate the silicon type in ear headphones. I've got my Sony over ears for the train/planes etc, prefer airpods for exercising/office
Same here, but in my case, my ears are weirdly shaped and none of these silicon tips stays in. {why god? why me? :)}
I mostly use Shokz headsets but i am very happy with Airpods 4 ANC
For those who don't like silicone tips (Pro's) and who tried the AirPod gen 3's but found they didn't fit (for me, they would fall out easily), I've found the 4's to fit and stay in much better. They still slip a little if I yawn, smile widely or talk for extended periods but haven't fallen out yet and feel comfortable. No issues when running or exercising. Still not a good as the old gen 2's but a big improvement on the 3's. Obviously all ears are different so YMMV. Noise cancellation works well too.
i really miss gen 2 airpods, best fit and never falls even when on run.
I could wear the gen 2's all day and just forget they were there
Never had any luck with earbuds fitting my ears. Obviously these stores won't allow it but anyone know if Apple's 14 day change of mind applies to used airpods if bought directly from Apple? Would love to try some and return them to apple and then buy them cheaper elsewhere

Got these on the $200 eBay sale last year and honestly what a let down! The actual music part of them is so meh, my AirPods 3 are way better. For the noise cancelling component yes, they're great.
I find myself switching between the 3 and 4s depending on how close the person yelling at their dearest friend on loud speaker is sitting to me on the train, or if that chick at work is in the office. Not a big fan, but they do fit in my ear nicely.
