Thanks! I have the code in my ebay summary, also have had debit card saved from previous order.

Nb: you're giving up PayPal refunded returns.

This is only a coupon I'd use for buying cheapo stuff that can't go wrong.

    • +1

Paypal refunds nit what they used to be. They now take ages several weeks, bounce you back to ebay sometimes and then you have to get ebay to sort it out. They also took random amounts out of my account with no trace on paypal account. I closed my paypal account after 4 stuffups in a row from them on ebay. The lack of reciprocal info swapping between ebay and paypal since they parted ways means its a lot more of a lottery than it used to be and far more of a hassle.

I am guessing if I don't even have a 'vouchers' section I am not targeted..

    • Most likely yeah, you can try applying the code in your cart, just to make sure.

    • same here.

    • Half the time it doesn't show up lately. Ebay is bug ridden. Refresh a times. Try desktop mode too if on mobile.

  • +2

From memory on a previous credit card deal, you could use code with eBay gift cards as payment

  • +4

I got TSAVE10 as my code - $10 off spend of $30 or more.

  • Mine says: Get $10 off when you spend $30 or more using your credit or debit card. Remember it for faster checkout. - pretty much same thing?

  • Same as the 2 above save $10 on 30 spend

  • No offer for me.

Their loss - I would have bought something if they'd sent it through.

    • Depends on the price of the item..

You'd need to spend anywhere from $75 (Joe blow without a store package) to $300 (Cbf checking store package fees for each item category so that's a guesstimate) before they'd break even on their $10.

Unless the fees cover the $10 it's not their loss. Because you didn't buy something with their subsidy and you wouldn't buy it without it. In fact, they saved $10.

The point is to capture a sale that would have gone elsewhere and at least make 1c rather than 0c.

      • Mathematically yes - but then why run the promo and put those minimums which enable a financial loss, so something they chose to do to gain revenue in spite of that. So still their loss.

        • Yes the minimums are weird but they obviously have more data than we do to know what the average $ purchase is. Also they might have learnt that "minimum $75 spend" only pushes customers away from ebay.

As a whole I'd assume profitable. Or willing to make a loss for market cap/future investment.

But your singular transaction… We'll have to agree to disagree whether it's their loss ;)

  • Don't often buy stuff on eBay over $30, but just bought some stuff and paid for it this morning… What a bummer!

  • Got the TSAVE20 code in one of my accounts

  • Thx h23

  • thx OP :)

Got TSAVE20, they picked the cheapest item I had recently looked at to tell me about it lol

  • +1

Wonder if you can pay with Afterpay… jk. Gift cards all the way.

  • Worked for me. Stacked it with the $3 shopback challenge.

    • Unfortunately, I don't think it will stack as you used a coupon code.

      • Good point. Doh. Thankfully I wasn't relying on the cashback anyway

    • No way, the "tsave10/20" guarantees no cashback.

  • So what's the good buy for $50?

  • targeted for who?

  • Damn no deal for me

  • It wouldn't take paypal, but the transactions still went through paypal! AND in USD. why?
Lucky ebay takes Diners, so I won't be screwed on fx fees. Will wait a few days to see what the actual total is compared to the billed AUD amount.

    • Ebay works in USD. It's retarded.

  • EBgames eBay store no longer with eBay Plus. :(

  • Can someone confirm the use of ebay gift cards - I have a $15 gift card and after this discount the item I want turns out to be $20.05. Can I:

    • Use the $15 gift card and pay the balance with credit card
    • Buy another gift card (unfortunately will have to be over $5 so $10) and use 2x gift cards on the purchase?
    • +1

I did the first option. You could also buy a $5 gift card and pay the $0.05 balance by credit card if you wanted.

I would imagine the 2nd option of paying all of it by gift card would work, it has in the past, but can't confirm.

    • Also worked for me - see my comment below. I used a GC that I bought from Redeem Your Gift Card, which I was trialling in prep for buying Harvey Norman GCs when we go there to put the deposit down for outfitting the kitchen in our new house.

  • Ghost of Tsushima PS4 is $39.20 / $39 C&C at EB Games eBay for those with the TSAVE coupon. Seems like a good price.

  • Where do i find voucher in my ebay see nothing saying voucher?
    I am using mobile phone.

  • Is this a once off thing as I can’t use it twice btw the TSAVE10 doesn’t work

    • +1

      Yes one off code:

You may use the redemption code once in one transaction during the Offer Period

  • +2

Hmmm…went to buy something tonight and had TSAVE10 in my account. I also had a giftcard that I hadn't redeemed yet, so I figured I'd try it out. I selected CC as payment, entered the numbers and the voucher auto-applied, then entered the GC code and that went through without a hitch. Sweet - $10 saving and I got to use a discounted GC! Thanks OP.

  • A lot of seller writes they only accept Paypal in the description. Although credit card seems to be available at checkout. And credit card is listed at the top of the page. Which makes me hesitant to pay with a credit card.

  • +3

Very weird - had the TSAVE20 code showing in my discount list yesterday, and today it is gone but I haven't used it. Was about to put make a purchase with it and it is gone. Had a use by date of 30/4/21. Have still got my Ebay Summary page tab sitting open from yesterday that I haven't refreshed and it was definitely there. Anyone elses code disappeared?

    • +1

Same. I'll try to ask customer service. Maybe it was in the terms and conditions that they can remove the offer.

I have checked the details from our end and allow me to share that, this sounds like an emerging technical issue on site as we have received couple of similar samples and our technical team is working rigorously to fix the issue as soon as possible.
      06:25:25 UTC Terrence
However, there is nothing to worry about this. To resolve this faster, I’m going to send your account details as a sample to our technical team so the issue on your account is addressed and resolved on priority basis.
      06:25:35 UTC Terrence
Thank you once again for highlighting this to us and most importantly we appreciate your patience and understanding in the meantime. It is in times like these that we badly need your support as we do get really concerned that our customers are not having a good experience as we always aim for.

Hi yes I spoke to the Ebay online Help chat service yesterday afternoon. Was told likely take 5-7 days time for their Technical team to investigate. Pleased to say discount was reinstated a few hours later.

  • +2

is it a bug or the deal gone? Had the $10 off / 30 plus spend this morning but it vanished

  • My TSAVE10 voucher was missing when I went to complete a purchase on Tuesday afternoon. Weird chat with Ebay…

    09:28:45 UTC Tanya
Eligible Customers means customers who see the redemption code TSAVE10 under the Voucher section in their My eBay while logged into their eBay account.

    09:29:39 Me
Oh, so it was withdrawn by Ebay?

    09:30:26 UTC Tanya
NO it is not like that, and it is for every members here not for you only .I am really sorry about it .I would request you to wait little as many offers will be available soon more.

    • +1

Hi my voucher went missing also. I spoke to the Ebay online Help chat service yesterday afternoon. Was told likely take 5-7 days time for their Technical team to investigate. Pleased to say discount was reinstated a few hours later.
I'd try raising it with them again.

  • I saw it in my account two days ago but now it is no longer there. Maybe they were stopping it because of the gift card loop hole.

    • +1

Hi yes same happened to me with my discount code disappearing. I spoke to the Ebay online Help chat service yesterday afternoon. Was told likely take 5-7 days time for their Technical team to investigate. Pleased to say discount was reinstated a few hours later.

      • So have they loaded back to your account? I cant still see on my account!

  • I had the same problem as the others, my voucher has been removed from my account.
I spoke with them and they issued a $10 voucher for me

    Manthan19:20 PM
I have checked the details and it seems to be technical glitch and hence voucher was removed.
    Manthan19:20 PM
However, please do not worry I am issuing you with $10 voucher.

  • Mine's gone as well

  • It been removed from my ebay summary as well.
I read above comment, and chat with customer service.
Same result in few minutes, $10 voucher.

  • +1

Found a $10 voucher. No minimum spend and works with Paypal. Better deal than before.

  • I'm on Desktop and I don't even see the voucher section.

  • Can you combine this with todays shopback 25% cashback offer?

  • I did have this voucher code show up on my summary page last week but didn't use it. Now it's gone and I can't use it. I've tried putting it in at checkout and it says "Unfortunately, this code no longer works". Seems pretty strange especially as I clearly remember the expiry date being the 30/4/21.

    • Same. Rather frustrating.

      • Chatted with eBay staff. Was initially told that "the codes are valid for a period of time", but upon advising them I saw the expiry was 30/4/21, they issued a $10 voucher.

  • Got the same issue with the disappearing voucher.

Contacted support, they said they couldn't find anything against my account and they would only reinstate the voucher after I send them proof :(

I guess I waited too long to follow this up.

    I definitely had $10 off, I saw it on a $50 item.

    • +2

Search in your email for the codes(TSAVE20/TSAVE10). eBay usually sent reminders to use the codes.

      • Yeah, couldn't find any emails from them, not even the monthly plus $5 ones. Its a work email, I suspect they are blocked. Not in junk, blocked.

Oh well, it's a secondary account. Didn't get the code on the main account.

        EBay sucks.

  • Mine disappeared too, despite chatting with eBay who acknowledged there was a glitch, they said "I am sorry to inform you this but to reissue the voucher is not possible"
